Shoeless Joe 11 3/4" I-Web Baseball Glove

Just a beautiful glove. Bought for my 11 year old. Broke in very quickly. Gets a lot of compliments…mostly coaches & parents (since 11 year olds don’t know quality when they see it and don’t have the years under their belt to appreciate the nostalgia of a glove of this era). Kid loves it…so much so that we bought a six finger version for when he plays outfield and a 32” catchers mitt. The Even the Nakona owners are envious. High likelihood these will be the only gloves we ever buy.

This is the third baseball glove I've bought from shoeless Joe's, and this is the third time the glove arrived stinking with an overwhelming odor of perfume, presumably because whomever packaged the glove is covered with the stuff or the room in which the gloves are stored are inundated with this terrible stink. I pointed this out in a previous review and hoped they would've done something to correct this problem. They make a quality glove, but it takes a month or more for that stink to wear off.

I bought this gloves as a gift to my son for his birthday. He loves it. He excited and can’t wait to use it at his next baseball game.

Item took a little longer to arrive than expected but not a problem. The glove is a bit bigger than an 11-3/4 rawlings and a bit disappointed by that, I inquired about getting the 11-1/2 size but there were restocking fees so I decided to keep the glove instead. The padding in the glove for the palm is not very good and could foresee some pain in the future but overall its a good quality glove. Shoeless joe has a program where they will restore your glove for a small fee once its worn down so it could be the last glove you'll ever own just make sure you get the right size. Im a shortstop/2nd baseman and prefer 11.5 but this is working out fine...

According to my 14 year old son (who has played baseball since age 4), "It is the best glove I've ever had". It was broken in after one practice.
