Good size habitat , I love it!
It’s a great critter cage! The size is good, bigger than my 10 gallon glass tank that I was currently using. Put together very easy, it is two parts that fit together, the top sits down into the ridge of the bottom half and snaps in place with two clips on each end. I did only receive one clip but it still keeps it closed tight enough without worrying that your critter will get out. I did reply to the company and are sending me another clip no problem and responded very quickly. The wheel is a good size as you can see in my photos compared with my blue one, but is a little inconvenient to take out to clean it. You have to lift the top of the cage up a little bit to unhook it from the back where the bracket sits in the slot to hold it in place. Not really a big deal, I just like to clean it often so I switched it with a free standing wheel that I already had. As you can see in the photos I did add a lot to it with tubes, wooden ladder, climbing rope, also added piddle pads to the bottom of the cage and to the second floor shelf for easier cleaning plus it gives a dark space underneath to hide out in. In the photos you can see them all hanging out in the red section of the tubes. I have 4 mice living in here that I captured in my home , before they have more babies running around , that I will release in the spring. Still putting traps out to catch them all, so feel this cage is big enough if I do catch more ,( hope not!) running around in my home. Hope my video and photos help you decide on getting this cage for whatever critter you my have. I love that you can add to it to make a bigger living space for the cute little critters

Excellent choice for two mice
I'm really happy I bought this as a first time mouse owner. Having two points of access has been great, and the solid acrylic assures me there's not going to be any escapes. It was a little tricky o get the top half on, as the hard plastic of the locks on the sides didn't really want to stretch to grip where they should at first. It took to patience and adjusting. Be very careful and don't force it. After assembly, I did notice a small crack on the top near the bars, in the center. I honestly don't recall whether the cage came that way or if I somehow did this when trying to get the latches secured. The acrylic IS hard and not flexible, so I think that's possible. This has been a great size for a pair of female mice and the clear bottom lets you observe them even as they burrow. As another reviewer said, I suggest putting the house on the floor, not the shelf, to avoid any attempts to reach the bars. Really happy so far and would buy again.

Cute Home for a Smaller Hamster
Luanne had a love hate relationship with this cage. She tried in vain to escape and would hang precariously from the grated top after her failed attempts. She was never able to get out so it was a safe and secure environment with plenty of room for her initially. At night, she would flip over the little house hutch and it often looked like she’d had a raging party and no one helped her clean up after. My only complaint with this cage was that the wheel was too small and not very sturdy. It broke after about a month. The cage was easy to clean with the entire top being removable. I ended up replacing this cage with a bigger hamster condo with a saucer wheel. That being said, it’s a great starter cage at a good price point.

Good alternative to other cages
Got this cage in the 24” size as a vacation/travel cage for my Syrian hamster, who has a mansion the majority of the time. I understood from some of the other reviews the acrylic could be brittle, and didn’t want to go to the largest size for use of one week max at a time, and risk it cracking open being transported. The top half of my cage did some with a crack on the side, but I expect the company will send me a replacement per other reviews so I’m not too worried about that. Overall I think the cage will be fine for my hamster for a week here and there, and I love that there are very minimal metal bars and it looks easy to clean. I do wish it didn’t come with the extra accessories, which I think seem small even for mice (the wheel is tiny). My Syrian won’t be able to use anything but the water bottle, food dish and maybe the tunnel. I’ll be putting my own hides and platforms in for her sleepovers with grandma. Overall I think it’s a good value but the extras are unnecessary. I wouldn’t recommend any of the sizes for a Syrian, but If buying for a dwarf hamster to live in full time, bigger would be better but you may be able to get away with the 28” in a pinch. Definitely check the heights and make sure you can fit a suitable sized wheel inside. Hamsters need quite big wheels to avoid back injuries. I also think this cage could be a good option for an elderly hamster that would do better with a bit less space in their older age.

Really impressed, mouse loves!
Perfect for mice, I'm actually buying a second to replace a traditional glass tank I use to house another mouse. The size and additional floor are great. Having two point of access is great for accessing your mouse or his accessories. The fact that it disassembles quickly makes cleaning very easy. The 2nd floor makes a great place to keep your mouse food/water without having to worry about them tracking bedding into them. The accessories this unit comes with aren't very usable. Water bottle leaks (I don't use that style anyhow), house/cubby is pretty small, and the wheel is too small for any rodent... But the cage is plenty big enough to hold your own mouse accessories, which is what I did. The housing did have a small crack in the acrylic, but it did not affect it's integrity, so I wasn't bothered by it.

Wheel was broken , it is an ok product
Looks exactly as pictured, some parts came broken. I was able to fix most, but the wheel did not work.
