I love these card sets and use them with teens who I see in therapy. The teens really enjoy talking about the choices they would make under the situations described on the cards, and it is a very nonthreatening way to build rapport with the teens, many of whom do not want to be there in the first place. By the end the session, they are asking for another appointment. I also use the card to assess the value systems, belief systems, behaviors, problem solving, impulse control, and personality of the teens. I love using these card because I do not sound like a drill sargent or interrogator throwing a lot of questions at reluctant teenagers. Excellent tool to build rapport wit.
