Himalayan Chef Pink Salt Fine Grain, Plastic Jar - 5lbs GMO & Gluten-Free

I recently had to start a new diet where I can't use regular table salt. Most of the pink himalayan salts available near me required you to use a grinder, and there are just times where I don't have the energy to grind the amount I need (like when I'm cooking a big batch of soup), or at times I only have 1 hand free in the kitchen, so I really needed something that was ready to go. This salt has fit my needs well. The taste is good, there is so much in this one bottle, I think it's going to last me a few months, so certainly feel like I got my money's worth. I also like that there is a variation of colors, since this helps me see how much salt I'm sprinkling more easily.

Great to buy in bulk! Good flavor. I just fill previously purchased shakers and keep filling.

Good healthy salt

After a little research I learned that Himalayan Chef Pink Salt is one of the purest forms of salt you can buy. I was kind of confused as to why the sku had been covered up by a different sku and this made me a little skeptical. I removed the sku sticker to reveal the original sku in order to scan it on my nutrition app, and was elated to learn that, while, to much salt isn't good for you, this appears to be as good as it gets.

If you mix it in a glass of water, the color changes to pink, leading you to believe it has mixed well. However, after 10 minutes, the pink color settles at the bottom. I suspect this product is not rock salt, but is likely mixed with sea salt and pink dust.
