This is a fun kazoo that's also good quality. It is certainly a step-up from the plastic toy kazoos which are so common. Even though the body is made of metal, the mouthpiece is made of plastic so you don't get a metallic taste in your mouth. It has a protective cap that fits over the mouthpiece to keep it clean and includes a string so you can wear it around your neck. This kazoo is well worth the money.

I like that it is a very sturdy and professional looking instrument. Has a nice tone. My 11 year old grandson says it is his favorite Christmas gift.

This kazoo is much better than the toys you can get for a buck or so. It came with extra resonator disks, has a cover for the mouth piece, and fits well in my harmonica rack.

Seems to work fine. Sounds good, as far as kazoos go. Does what it's supposed to. It's a kazoo.

Nothing wrong with the product. I bought it for my granddaughter for her entertainment, but there really is not much you can do with a kazoo anyway. She got bored with it pretty quickly. So if your recipient is musically inclined and enjoys working on new instruments (is a kazoo really an instrument?), then go ahead and get one.

The tone and sound quality isn't what i was expecting. Compared to other kazoo, it takes a bit more effort to produce a sound and it can be a bit tricky to get it sounding well with the membrane that is provided.

If you told me 7 years ago that I would have a daughter who vocal stims like she’s trying to bring the house down and a niece who detests the sound even a fly makes, and they would both be living in the same house, I would have invested in more noise canceling earplugs and boxing gloves. But I digress… My daughter loves to hum and sing, and generally get every annoying song possible stuck in all of our heads. I decided to turn this into something productive and call it a *musical talent* All jokes aside, The kazoo is actually pretty dope. I did not expect it to be so well made. You know, the plastic birthday party favor ones don’t leave a lasting impression after all! This one is good. It stands up to my daughter wailing on it like a one-woman orchestra. I guess I’m not done joking yet. But really, I think it’s a good value and will be able to withstand seemingly endless hours of her renditions of the “home alone” theme song and “chicken nugget dreamland.”

The kazoo itself seems ok. But the membrane is way too loose, so even on the tightest setting the sound is horrible. Of course replacement membranes are only sold in bulk, so you have to pay the price of a new kazoo to get them. I wouldn’t buy this kazoo again. Instead getting a pack of cheap plastic kazoos which comes with replacement membranes, all for $3 less than this one with its useless membrane. Update: I realized there is a pack of extra membranes included in the package. So I switched out the membrane, hoping that would fix the problem. Nope, the problem is the kazoo itself. Updated to 1 star. I ordered a cheap pack of 20 plastic kazoos, for less than I paid for this one, and they sound a million times better.
