Perfect Fit and Very Satisfied
Perfect OEM fit. A breeze to change out on an 2005 MDX if you are handy and familiar (and comfortable) with light mechanical work. Mine had 2oz of oil in it so I had to add 3 more oz. to the compressor before install. Very happy. I have 4 Toyota vehicles and 1 ACURA MDX AND ALWAYS go back with Denso products (OEM) when needed.

Installed in my 2008 Honda Ridgeline
easy install, runs smooth, my A/C doesn't kick in hard anymore, when I switch on the A/C it turns on smoothly now, the swap also eliminated some feedback I was hearing in my stereo speakers, I guess the old one was causing some kind of interference,

Great Price and savings for DIY's and anyone who wants to save money on dealer prices.
I like that the AC Compressor is a Denso which is OEM. I decided on the Denso as it is the manufacturer of the original AC compressor. I did not go with other brands or remanufactured as I am not a mechanic and a DIY's, and dont want to replace again in a few months. I am mechanically inclined and make a lot of repairs on lawn and home equipment, once I found right video on Youtube. This was my first time replacing an AC compressor on a car, I followed several youtube videos on the make and model of my car a 2008 Honda Ridgeline RTL. I would say its not easy as the AC compressor is in a tight space and I did it from underneath the vehicle simply removing cross bar under the compressor on frame of vehicle. It was challenging, but after completing the work I am completely satisfied. I had AC work done a few years ago and I was charged close to 2400 dollars. This time around I spent less than 500 dollars on the actual compressor and all tools and equipment. I now have ICE COLD AC and I could not be happier. I highly recommend the Denso AC Compressor if you want to DIY or have a professional do the work, it is worth it.

Exact replacement for 2006 Odyssey
This was the exact same compressor that came with my 2006 Odyssey LX when it was brand new from Honda. I didn't bother with measuring the oil, I just put it in and hoped for the best. I replaced all the seals and the expansion valve. If I had it to do over I would not do the expansion valve as it was very difficult to get to. Changing the compressor was a breeze. In my case the clutch failed and the system was perfect without any debris in the lines or condensor. If your system is not leaking then please do not buy R134A with a leak stop. It's best to find the leak than try to use something that could destroy other parts of the AC system. Don't use leak stop! The compressor came with a cracked wiring harness. I used clear JB Weld epoxy to glue it back together and it worked fine. I didn't have time to get a replacement compressor. Sucks it was broken. I guess it happened during shipping. I saved myself easily $1000 doing it myself. Good luck!

Thing is loud and I don’t expect it to last
What makes it worse, I can’t remove it to turn it because then I have to wait to install my belt. It genuinely sounds like parts are rattling on the inside. I am not happy as I bought a cheap compressor that lasted for 6 months just out of warranty, then I spend double the price on the denso as suggested and now I’m dealing with this crap. I vacuumed the system even though I’ve never had a compressor actually lock up, but I have a feeling this one will lock up. Maybe it will get better over time I doubt it. I am a master mechanic and trying to avoid paying a dealer to install one because that’s the only real way I’ll get a warranty. Very disappointed I feel like I wasted $220 Update a week later I added more pag oil and it did quiet down age seems to be functioning like it should, changing from 1 star to a 3 star I will update in 6 months or if it fails. Whichever comes first. It failed, the clutch material literally is falling out the compressor. I’m going to replace clutch and get another 6 months out of it . I replaced the entire ac system I am done parts from Amazon. This compressor failed because it wasn’t gapped properly so it slowly chewed the material away. Back to a a 1 star rating The generic ac compressor lasted twice as long. Update again after replacing clutch, it failed again October 2023 , not even a full year and I had to replace the Clutch less than 6 months in

I was able to find this on a promotion and the unit was an exact replacement of my original compressor. The replacement fit perfectly and the AC is working fine as a new vehicle although I got almost 435K on the odo ! Good buy and happy with the purchase.
