DONGKER Pet Hammock, Breathable Dog Sling for Grooming, Bathing, Nail Trimming

I have a Staffy, my Staffy does not like her nails being trimmed, we’ve tried everything & then I spotted this weird contraption and decided; why not.I measured the dog and got the appropriate size & waited eagerly for its arrival.It came next day, had to be rescued from the jaws of steel, the packaging didn’t make it but luckily the sling did.I was quite excited as it looks pretty good, very well made, getting it on was a mission but not too bad, we gave up trying to hook it to anything and my partner just lifted the dog up, all good until the dog saw the clippers.. bear in mind she’s never have a bad experience so we aren’t sure where the fear has come from, I hear it’s a Staffy thing?Anyways one glance at the cutters and she’s wriggling like mad, took two wriggles on the bum and she slid straight out, one thing to note is there is no adjustability on the straps, which is definitely needed to secure one’s backend.Plan B my partner decided to cut up one of my favourite bed sheets in order to make the rear end slightly more secure.Plan B worked in that respect and poor young pooch was hanging in some weird onesie suit looking very miserable but calm. Until she saw the cutters & in fear she nipped at me, not hard as she’s not a bad girl but we’ve decided it’s back to vets for sedation :(Our other dog however is an idiot, also wanted to try the sling, he’s still hanging in the kitchen thinking he can fly.Well made but no adjustment means dog can easily slip out and doesn’t feel very secure, not recommended sorry
