Sturdy little sand box. It has withstood high winds and rains. Our 6 yr old loves to play. It holds sand well and provides shade and seating for the kids. Closes easy enough that the child can do it. Was a bit smaller than I anticipated but holds 3 under 10 yr old kiddos. Was a bit difficult to put together as the instructions were not very clear.

A little flimsy, I feel like there should be something more holding the three layers at the bottom together as it will lean a lot either direction depending on how you tilt the canopy. We added an extra layer of protection with a full water resistant canopy to see if it helps to preserve the unit through the winter. Works well for our 18 month old, easy to put together, I did it by myself.

Bought as a birthday present for my son and it was definitely worth it. Gave 4 stars due to the top not holding up the best but doesn’t affect anything else. It’s been over a year since purchasing and the wood still looks new.

I’m not one to typically complain.. but it’s been about a month since we finally set this box up. (I purchased it in February ish??? For my son’s 1st bday in April. Wanted to wait till warmer to set it up) Well it rained for a week I had the canopy down and did my best but the canopy doesn’t protect the box at all! So next time I opened it up the wood is molded !! The bottom doesn’t attach so it’s easy access. Tonight I went out to the box and BUGS were everywhere! My son cannot play in this box!! I’m going to have to figure out how to get these bugs out. But for almost 200 dollars between the box and the sand to fill it. I’m furious!!! He can’t safely play! I wish I would have just gotten a cheap plastic 50 bucks on one and the kid would have at the VERY least protected the sand. It LOOKS beautiful. That’s IT. so so so dissatisfying. I would NEVER recommend this to be purchased. Which again I hate to be critical but it is just the truth!!

This was super east to put together, great over all quality, does let water get in after a while of raining,it hold the rain water pretty good , the screws where the perfect length super easy to fold the bench in and out,would probably do better with a different material for underneath to hold in sand bc it isn't the best quality but over all great product

Most of the sandboxes were very similar on here for materials and size. I was worried about the mold growing on the wood, however we haven’t had it long enough to review that. It’s not that big to check the measurements, and the umbrella feels super flimsy. However it does the job for 130$, keeping the kids happy and busy. Easy assembly my husband did it about 1 hour.

I love this sandbox!!!!! It closes when not being used. We have a lot of animals around our house and didn’t want them to go to the bathroom in it. This is great!! I thought it was well worth the money and having it delivered to your front door. Only bad thing was my son said the screws were so cheap they kept stippping so he had to buy better ones. I am buying another one for my grandkids house. I think it was still a good deal. You do need to put it together! It took about a half hour for my 24 year old son to do.

This sandbox is flimsy. The built is not firm or for long-term heavy duty support. Only a few days after building it shifted already and now it does not close well. It was never straight even right after building it. Some pieces had cracks, which thankfully didn't affect the function, like it did for some other people I've seen in reviews. From the picture you can see that the fabric covering the top is already banged up by the wind. Also, the roof cannot be tilted one or the other way because of the wooden pieces for support, as you can see from another picture. So don't be counting to block side-sun. The size is what is described in the product - it is small so make sure you know that and don't trust the pictures from the seller. It also took 2 months to be delivered. If this wasn't a gift, I'd be pretty unhappy with the purchase.
