Awesome Bottle
It is a awesome bottle, very helpful. It is helping me to remember to drink water even when I’m fully concentrated. The built material is amazing and the battery last for 2 to 2,5 weeks per charge.

Doesn’t integrate well with garmin
Water bottle is okay, I like that it tracks your water intake and logs it every time you take a sip on the app and I like that it notifies you if you aren’t drinking enough. It has definitely increased my water consumption since purchasing. I was very disappointed that the description suggests it links with Garmin but it doesn’t actually transfer the data across to the Garmin App, I think the product images and description are quite misleading it only links with one version of the Garmin watch which isn’t clear from the description. I purchased the brushed steel colour and having received it on Wednesday (less than a week ago) I am a bit disappointed that the bottle is already scratched from being put in a cup holder in the car, images included. The bottle fit in the holder nicely but it has marked it quite significantly which is disappointing given the price, I’ve never had this issue before with bottles made of the same material. Im also not impressed with the battery life. I was led to believe 10-14 days battery, I have it set to only flash if I am below my target and maximum 8 times per day and I’ve had it 6 days and it’s below 50% charged having been charged to full power before I started using it so I don’t think it will last 14 days. I think the biggest thing for me is the lack of compatibility with Garmin, that was my main reason for buying this brand so hopefully in the near future this integration will be improved. I’m on the fence with my review as it does log the water well and it has increased my water consumption but I think if I knew what I do now I probably wouldn’t have purchased it given the price and lack of compatibility. Also worth noting there is an additional cost to pay if you want to be able to fully customise the colour options which seems a bit ridiculous given the price.

Very disappointed
Not great feedback I'm afraid. I bought a HidrateSpark Pro - when it arrived the box was branded HidrateSpark Steel which I now understand to be what the bottle used to be called. The bottle tracked what I was drinking which was great but the LEDs don't work at all, they don't even light up when recharging; and the battery depleted within 2 hours (after being charged for 12 hours). I complained to Amazon and received a refund which I promptly used to buy a replacement. The box came branded HidrateSpark Pro, so I was optimistic that this one would work since it would be newer. I was delighted when I put the puck on charge and it slowly flashed green! When it was fully charged I popped it on the bottom of the bottle, synced it with the app, and calibrated it. Once I'd finished my first bottle I excitedly opened the app to see my water track, only to find it blank, it hadn't tracked anything. I opened the 'bottles' section in the app to see a "Needs recalibrating" message next to the bottle - I recalibrated and started again only to find the next bottle drunk didn't track either and the "Needs recalibrating" message was back. I repeated this several more times - each time I calibrated my bottle, as soon as I picked it up to drink it came up saying "needs recalibrating"! I uninstalled the app, reinstalled, and tried again - same thing. I reset the puck too - no change. So now I have an expensive bottle that does light up pretty colours when I'm behind schedule, but I need to manually input every drink - if I'd wanted that I could have opted for a much cheaper solution!

Good value
Very good product, works well. For medical reasons I was told to drink more water by my consultant. This water bottle did the trick and I’m drinking water regularly through smart reminders.

Great addition to a healthy lifestyle.
This is a great way to monitor your fluid intake. The bottle is sturdy and so easy to use and connect to the app. You can use it to monitor any of your daily drinks. Easy to charge and easy to clean. Just follow the instructions.

Upped my water intake 100%
What can I say - be patient, let it calibrate, let it sync and don't sweat being a couple of mil out. Manage your expectations and definitely charge the puck until the LED lights are solid. Been using for 3 days now and am totally happy with my purchase. Reminders are perfect and drinking goals throughout the day are achievable and well managed by the app. I have the 500ml and possible should have gone slightly larger as I do find myself refilling a lot during the day but that's the point right? To reach your water consumption. Once I take a couple of glugs, I set the bottle down and wait and the base glows which shows me it has measured my last consumption. Also be patient when refilling, set the bottle down and wait for it to confirm the calibration, this is seconds unless you have placed the bottle on an uneven surface or the liquid is still sloshing about. Be gentle and you'll be fine. If you want to measure your water intake to the milliliter then this bottle isn't for you. If, like me, you went for weeks without drinking any water then this is a must have if you want to start feeling less lethargic almost immediately. Be prepared for more trips to the toilet too. It is inevitable..

I drink water so much more now!
Pros: Thanks to this bottle, I drink a lot more It keeps my water / drinks very cold (ice lasted overnight and was still there in the morning) Great app / tracking insights Love the lights to remind me to drink Fantastic value (when I purchased during a deal) Nice colour Quality is high Cons: I wish I had a higher capacity - frequent refills are required Some app features require further cost Although the lights flashing is nice, sometimes it creates unwanted conversation with people about why you have a flashing water bottle...

Avoid!
Doesn’t work at all. Waste of money. Avoid!

Capiente, robusta. Da usare in abbinamento alla sua app o anche senza. Ti ricorda di bere (non è scontato visto che almeno io bevo molto meno del dovuto) e ti calcola esattamente quanto stai bevendo.

Perfect for my tracking needs and was easy to sync.

I first discovered the Hidrate water bottles when they launched their bottle that just glowed green. I had been searching for a 'smart bottle' for a few months and wanted to take the time to make sure it had everything I wanted before I spent the money. Fast forward a few months and I come back to look at it again and I find the Spark Steel! I am so glad I waited, and to be honest, I couldn't really find any other brands that offered a smart bottle like this- very unique. I am terrible at keeping track of things like the time I spend exercising and what I eat/drink throughout the day and I had noticed that I had some days where I just didn't feel well, seemingly by no fault of my own. Lo and behold, after using this bottle for a few weeks, I've learned that the days that I don't quite hit my 80oz mark leave me feeling less-than the next day while I try to get rehydrated. It's helped me develop a schedule and I now have an idea of how much water and by what time I need to drink it to complete my goal. You can choose to have the bottle flash only when you're behind or just remind you in general, up to 10 times a day. (Wish that could be increased because sometimes I walk away from my bottle on my desk and miss the alert- first world problems) I love that you have the choice to make it flash even when you're ahead because I helps me STAY ahead of my target and reminds me when I haven't thought about drinking for a few hours. You can also set your 'Wake up' and 'Bed Time' so the bottle won't flash at times of the morning/night where you do not want to be bothered by the light. The manual entry on it is easy but a little confusing- they have a few pre-programmed volumes (8, 12, 17) but if you drag the 'water line' (see pic) up and down, you can customize the amount. It took me a few days to figure out so I wanted to mention it. The glow settings on it are not plentiful- only six pre-loaded ones- but if you care (I didn't), you can spend a few bucks to download their glow-customizing app. I was most excited about the rainbow setting that comes automatically so I just stick to that and have not bothered with the customizer. The app is simple and gives you a read of the battery's power level so I can plan ahead when I know it's gonna be a charge night. It does take upwards of two hours to give a dead battery a full charge, but it lasts about a week for me. I had tried looking into Fitbit's 'Q&A' to see if their were any bottles on the market that could be integrated with the app but I couldn't really find any information. I WAS SO EXCITED when the bottle arrived and the side of the box said "WORKS WITH FITBIT!!!" I probably could have read a little more on the Hidrate website and discovered that ahead of time but it was a nice little surprise! Connecting the apps was extremely simple and after the Fitbit app did a push (~30min later, don't freak out if it's not working right away. Bless fitbit's heart but they need a lot of upgrades where communication between integrated clock faces and apps are concerned) from its servers, the water count in the fitbit app started to update itself automatically. And, AND!! Based on your exercise and other metrics that my Fitbit Sense keeps track of, it can up or lower your recommended 'Hidrate goal' for the day. There was one day where I drank over 100oz of water and so it dropped me by about 15oz the next day because I didn't need as much hydration. Alternatively, on days where I had workouts longer than an hour (I stay in peak heart rate to the best of my ability, too) it will bump me up a little to compensate for all the sweating. Make sure you open both your fitbit & Hidrate app and sync it at least once a day to make sure everyone is accurately swapping information. Overall, fantastic product and well-worth the price. It's accurate and fun and I never have to wonder if I'm dehydrated again. Hoping that one day they'll launch a larger size (perhaps around 50oz?) but if volume is the only downside, are there really any downsides? Do it. Put it in your cart and purchase it.
