This is my review of Elcoho’s Artificial Grass for Crafts This grass works well for my needs. I do dioramas and help people put together landscapes for things like model railroads. These sheets of grass are 6 inches (15cm) square, and are flexible with a smooth backing. Based on some of the reviews that I read, I performed a few tests. Size As I mentioned, the size for this grass is 6 inches (15cm) square. I would suggest that before purchasing, you pull out a ruler and mark it out on a piece of paper, then see if that is a size you can use. Shedding Any product such as this will produce shedding, but these seem to be minimal. I took one of the squares and began brushing it over a white sheet of paper. When I looked, there was hardly any grass pieces on the paper. Actually, I was surprised and impressed. Flatness I always glue my faux grass down; however, even before glueing, all the squares lay absolutely flat… no curl whatsoever. Seams When you take two pieces of anything, and line them up, you are bound to see a visible seam. In some cases, you want a seam, but in the case of artificial grass you probably do not. These items do indeed show a visible seam, but I have found a way to minimize and almost eliminate it. Once you have all your grass tiles aligned and secured, take an old toothbrush and gently brush over the seams. The brushing helps to tie the two tiles together, and all but eliminates the seam, making it almost impossible to see. Now, to be sure there are times when you need larger pieces of grass. For example, when I am designing a layout for a large railroad setup, you do not want small squares… you will probably want faux grass on a roll. It just depends on what your particular needs are. So, if your project lends itself to small squares, I can recommend this product.

Works great for decorating the bottom of my PC build. I wish it didn’t shed so much with the slightest movement though. The sheets were easy to cut down to my needs

Easy to work with, cutting it was easy, and quality and quantity is good for the price. I used it for some crafts I was working with. Definitely recommend and would be buying again.

I used this fake grass for a school project and the texture was amazing! Functionally wise was easy to cut. The durability of the grass was unbelievable. Great value for the money.

This fake grass looks ok but it sheds all over. Also too thick for fairies and gnomes to stand on (unless glued or staked). Not what I wanted but package tore so badly on opening that I can't return. Bummer. Might work ok for someone else.

This was used in the Year 2 class I work in for a story about a magical, fairy island, which you could only see while standing on a magical piece of grass. I was able to cut the pieces of grass, so each child in class got their own piece to write their stories. I made a small diorama, using the grass, glass pebbles, arches and even a unicorn! The kids loved it and it really stretched their imaginations.

Easy to cut, good looking but does shed if handled too roughy. Used outdoors and shows no bad effects due to sun and rain. Stuck them to Correx sheet (old estate agents for sale sign) and looks really good
