Chaco Women's Wrapsody X Sandal

I loved my Chaco wrapsody sandals that I purchased a few years ago. I was sad when they discontinued this style, and was heartened when I saw that a similar style was being introduced. Despite the reviews that indicated that the straps were too tight, I had to order them and see for myself. I normally wear a size 7, but in this case, I ordered both size 7 and 8. The sole on the size 8 is only slightly larger than the size 7, and the straps are a bit looser. I have the straps loosened as far as they will go, and they fit nicely. I still would like to have the old style Chaco wrapsody, but I am glad to have this style availale, because no sandal gives the support that Chacos do!

I kept these and I wear them. They are comfy but they look funny. It's like they sit crooked on my foot. So my whole forefoot and toes are always crunched over on the outer side of the shoe. My original Z-pattern Chacos don't do that. Also the 2small straps instead of the one fatter strap is a PAIN. It looks cute but they get all crossed up as you put the shoe on so you have to sit down and fix it. Kind of defeats the purpose of having backless shoes. Should have just bought Chaco flip flops.

As others mentioned the strap adjustment is challenging. I bought them for the arch support and the grip for the foot so when watering in the yard my feet don't slide sideways like with other one-piece rubber sandals. The biggest challenge is the strap adjustment changes every time you take them off and put them back on. It requires continued adjusting so they don't cut off circulation on different parts of the foot.

In the past, I've always gotten blisters from the toe straps-These Chacos are REALLY COOL! I love that there arent any toe straps to "wiggle the piggies into" AND no heel straps!Super easy to slide on, great arch support (but not too much), and perfect for an easy hike.They have not slipped off my feet once!

This is the first pair of Chaco's I've ever had to return. I own a dozen pairs of sandals and shoes from Chaco, and this pair (new generation wrapsody) was just awful. As others have mentioned the straps seemed REALLY short- I had to loosen them as far as they'd go to even get my foot in the sandal, and they were still too short. The footbed on these is also super soft, and provides little support. An 8 in these is wider and longer than both my Z/2 and my older wrapsody sandals.

Love these! They fit as I expected except that they feel more narrow (tight straps) than other Chacos I have. Still wearing them and stretching out the webbing, but they definitely fit differently than standard chacos!

Love the shoe but had to send back. I'm a pretty true 8 and would need a 9 in these. I have a pair of Chaco sandals already that are an 8 but they have the ankle strap. I will get the 9 and hope they will work!

When I first ordered these the reviews made me nervous but when I got them I was determined to like them. The first day I wore them I got blisters and decided to return them. On a whim a decided to wear them again before I had the chance to return them. The straps seemed much better than before (they were the original issue, everything else was fine) and have worn them a lot In the not even full week since I decided to give them another try. Give them a bit to break in and these shoes work fine!
