6' Gavitt Braided Shield Pre-Tinned Pushback 22 AWG Guitar Wire

Ridiculously high capacitance. The entire 6ft length measured 560pf, but when cut into 1' sections, each measured aprox 150pf. In something like a Les Paul or, god forbid, an Epiphone Wildkat, that adds up quickly and can/will be a high end killer. Absolutely not recommended for anything other than short runs.

Very stout wire! The outer braid is extremely strong, it has a cloth inner wrap over the center conductor insulation. It takes solder well. Note, it is pretty stiff so preplanning your routing is important.Would buy again.

Love this wire. The inner wire was not pre-tinned as advertised but I'm not hating on it for that. I've used this type of wire for over thirty years and it is by far the easiest to work with.

Surprisingly good quality wire. It really cleaned up my guitar cavity using its shielded outside to my advantage. It is not pre-tinned but is that really necessary to complain about? I dont think so.
