Didn't last long!!
We have a Springer Spaniel who likes to chew her tennis balls etc. She had a rope chew which didn't last long and now this hemp rope didn't last 15 minutes; besides that she started to eat some of the hemp. We worried for a few days, thinking about a blockage. All is well but I would stay away from this item.

Had a bad smell
Unfortunately it had a barnyard smell. I left it outside a few days to air out but it still had the smell. I reluctantly gave it to my 9 month old pup and he ripped it apart in 10 minutes. I liked that it was natural but did not like the smell or the lack of durability.

It’s Manila rope…
All these bad reviews are because clearly they have never worked with rope or line before. Manila/ hemp/ abaca whatever you want to call it, it’s natural simple and not very strong at all and even on ships it clearly doesn’t last forever like the new modernage technology ropes have brought us to be accustom to. So Ofcourse it frays and gets chewn thru 🐕 🐶. Google hemp and dogs and you’ll see it’s fine, better than other ropes for their innards. 🥳
