Battery life poor, despite claimed improvements.This has the same battery capacity as the previous model!

I have had this toothbrush about a week now and so far I'm really impressed with it. At first I thought the head felt really big but once you get used to it you realize it's just about perfect as it cleans the gums too. The brush itself does feel quite bulky, but it does feel well made. The price is a little high for what it is, and all the Bluetooth gimmicks are a bit pointless. However it cleans really well, way better than my old cheapo "sonic" toothbrush, and way better than I can do manually. So it got me thinking, if it cleans this well surely you end up saving money at the dentist or at the very least have a way healthier mouth. I have noticed in the mornings I no longer have that morning mouth feel, it has just about vanished. I always used to clean my teeth 3 times a day, and use a interdental brush. But the results with this brush are honestly day and night. I haven't experienced any problems with the charging or anything yet. It comes with a 2 prong plug so you will need one of the cheapo 99p shaver plugs for it to plug into. So yes I definitely would buy it again and recommend it.

Gimmicky toothbrush that lasted barely a month. All the focus seems to have gone on pretty colour lights and a useless app, while the basic requirement for having a reliable functioning product has been forgotten. The brush stopped charging a mere three days after the 30-day money back guarantee expired and is basically useless now. Oral-B claim this is a firmware issue that requires an update, which in turn requires downloading and using their app (which forces users to sign away the rights to their data being collected by the way, no option to avoid this). Having gone through all the steps, the app then refuses to update the firmware due to the toothbrush not being sufficiently charged - which was the whole problem to begin with. A classic example of unnecessarily over-complicating and thereby ruining a product. Oral-B would not provide a refund of course, but have offered a repair in the Nottingham service centre. Who needs all this ridiculous hassle over a simple toothbrush?! Save your time and money and stick with tried-and-tested reliable products, not gimmicky unreliable rubbish like this.

I absolutely love the toothbrush due to its design and features it offers. The toothbrush itself is light in weight so very easy to use. I like that this toothbrush model also caters for people with sensitive teeth. Additionally, you can connect your toothbrush with your phone via the oral b app. The app lets you see how and when you have brushed so you can keep track as well as the battery percentage. Another feature I liked that there is a small pause every 30 seconds. You can also change the ring colours using the app. Overall, it's a fantastic toothbrush and showed effective results. I have had no problems so far and the battery life is excellent. I'm very happy with this purchase and will definitely recommend.
