Great syrup
We love this syrup! It's more economical than buying it by the quart.

Great
As described, I love this maple syrup. I can only take them for their word that this is organic and free of chemicals. It tastes good. I like the bottle. I will never throw it away. You could even use it as a vase on your library Shelf. It's a taste of good old-fashioned American culture. But it's kind of heavy and I bet the postman frowns.

Packaging
I like this item, but this is the 2nd time I've received it damaged. The packaging is not good on the maple syrup, the top always leaks or comes cracked, today it leaked all over the floor wear it was left. I have cancelled my subscription because of this.

nice flavor, decent value, great company customer service, love the family owned-single origin
So, we use a lot of maple syrup in our family. We had been getting it from a farm nearby to support them but they stopped sugaring two years ago so we need to find a new source. Their syrup was inexpensive, organic though not certified, had no defoamer, but was taken from a mixed variety of trees and had a smokey flavor to it. The two syrups we have tried lately are a nice organic (but not certified) quart from a local source we bought at a natural food store nearby, and Costco organic maple syrup. The local stuff from the natural food store had amazing flavor but was spendy and information on what was used for a defoamer was not forthcoming. Costco's was nice, inexpensive, but who knows where it was from and what was used as a defoamer. So, now we are trying Sapsquatch. First off, love the name! Next, value, well it is more expensive than some other organic syrups but still a good value especially when compared to buying other syrups in smaller quantities, but I do have to put this into smaller containers a a gallon container is quite large to put in the fridge. The flavor is really good, we've used it on pancakes of course, and I have used it in a roasted meal I make where I roast butternut squash, onions, apples, and kielbasa tossed in maple syrup and it was great. I love that Sapsquatch is a family owned and single origin organic maple syrup and not organic maple syrup from a coop where tons of sap from many organic farmers is mixed together and then marketed for them (I won't name any names here). I also love the company's customer service. Before I ordered this syrup I messaged the company to ask what they sued for a defoamer and not only did a get a very quick response but I liked their answer too. They wrote me "Great question, we use a few drops of Suppressor ORG 60 from Hydrite, it is a plant based organic certified defoaming processing aid". I am so happy with this maple syrup that I plan on buying maple candy from them too, and made their maple cream too!

Make Any Meal Extra Special By Adding This Delicious Maple Syrup
When you add Sapsquatch Organic Maple Syrup to your favorite dish, it can make that dish taste extra special. The one gallon bottle holds a beautiful amber colored Grade A maple syrup. I've added the syrup to overnight oats, cream of wheat, crepes, pancakes, and waffles in the morning. For lunch and dinner, the syrup has paired beautifully with grilled salmon and chicken, homemade baked beans, and mixed with champagne vinegar and olive oil to make a homemade salad dressing. It is even delicious drizzled on top of cut fruit. There are a myriad of foods that this maple syrup can be coupled with. It is simply delicious! Like other grade A syrups, the texture is loose but it clings well to whatever food you add it to. It is full of flavor and our family just loved it. It is a pure maple syrup and once you taste it, you know you've tasted a quality product. The one gallon bottle can be a challenge to handle initially but once we poured some syrup into smaller bottles it is fine. The Product is Made in the USA. The product that I received has a best by date of almost 4 years from the date that I received it. It is a USDA Certified Organic and MOSA Certified Organic product. It is a delicious maple syrup that I am glad to have in the pantry.
