This is a simple, sturdy, versatile, portable, affordable product. It's like the jeep of exercise equipment. 1) assisted chinups: This band allows me to scale my chinups, so I will actually do them. I used to skip them, like most people skip leg day, because I had to start cold at my 3rep max. It was like only having a 50lb dumbbell. You're not goanna do many curls with that. But with this band, it's like I have a full weight rack. I loop it over the chinup bar and then put my foot through the bottom, and I can suddenly do 20 chinups at a time. Wrap it 2x over the bar, and I can do 40. It's actually fun. So, I do them and I'm getting better at my unassisted chinups because of it. I recently got 8 good unassisted chinups in a row twice what I could do a few weeks ago.2) add extra resistance when you can't afford more weight plates: I use it for heavier deadlifts because I can't justify shelling out $100+ for another set of 45s.3) superportable gym: I just put it over my shoulder and carry it to the park or put it in my luggage, when I travel. I can do curls, shoulder press, and, when looped over a door or chinup bar, triceps extensions.4) stretching: I have serious mobility challenges. Like many former gym rats, I didn't stretch or do compound exercises for years. So, I'm hardpressed to touch my toes. My buddy got me started in CrossFit, and I was one of the few who couldn't do an overhead squat. I just couldn't get my arms over my head. The coach showed me how to stretch out my chest with one of these. 5 minutes later, I was able to add 20 lbs. to my overhead squat. I now use this band to stretch out my ankles, hips, and chest, before every gym session. It really helps.
