My revolver is far more manageable with this oversized and more ergonomic grip. Reduces the concealability, but makes up for it in control. Hogue grips are always a great upgrade.

I installed this grip on a S&W 686 Plus . It fit okay but not perfect with the revolvers back strap abount 1/16" proud. I installed the same grip on my S&W 625 a few months ago and the grip fit flush on that revolver. Hogue says that frame sizes vary slightly and can be adjusted with tape if necessary. Mine is close enough to suit me so I will be leaving it alone.

This is a vast improvement over the wooden handles that my combat Magnum came with. I initially thought it would not work because the wooden handles have a screw through the center not in the bottom of the butt. The provided grip has a workaround for that. looks good and feels great.

I've been buying Hogue monogrips for years for S&W square butts and the fit has always been perfect. These round butt grips are a bit off in how they fit the back strap of the grip. There is no rubber over the back strap like in the picture. It's exposed, just like the square butt type. That's where the fit issue comes in. There is a gap at the base of the back strap. They are more comfortable for me than the stock S&W grips and easier to hold with sweaty hands. The improved grip is why I put Hogue grips on almost all of my handguns. I have to knock off a star for fit, but that's cosmetic not functional. Otherwise they're great.

The rubber grip with finger notches and rounded off bottom makes this better for shooting my Smith 686 and doesn’t print as bad as the bigger rubber grip also made by Hogue. Way better than the wood presentation grips that came with the gun!

These grips may not be as handsome as some other offerings but as to comfort and feel they are exceptionally comfortable. Especially when shooting powerful calibers such .357, 44mag and 10mm ETC. They install easy have a great price point.

I like Hogue grips. I've had one on my 1911 for 20 years. I replaced the stock grip on a Taurus .44 tracker four years ago and it was a great improvement. So when I recently acquired a S&W Model 69 I definitely intended to put a Hogue on it. Installation is simple enough, and fit is good enough though not perfect. And I still like the way it looks. But it's not a big improvement over the stock S&W rubber grip, and it has a cheap, hollow sound and feel that leaves me not as satisfied as I've been with my earlier grips. Maybe it's just that the stock grip on this gun is already pretty good; the only thing I really like better is the more rounded butt and that's just aesthetics.

These grips fit, feel and look great on my S&W model 66.
