amikahydro rush intense moisture shampoo with hyaluronic acid

I love love LOVE this line! I'm a relaxed, color treated 52 year old with graying edges... a whole hair nightmare lol! Amika is my new favorite! It really has a great smell, the product spreads easily in my hair and lathers really well. It also adds a good slip before adding the conditioner. I've now purchased the whole line, including the leave-in conditioner. My hair is so soft, silky and feels much thicker. I wasn't sure this would work on my hair because I'm Black but I am SOLD! I've since bought travel sets for my 2 adult daughters to try. It's a little pricey but WELL WORTH IT!!

I’ve only used this shampoo twice so far and it’s already my favorite moisturizing/hydrating shampoo. I instantly can feel the difference after lathering this into my hair. I always clarify first then use a bond repair or moisturizing shampoo but i heard this one was a good option and it didn’t disappoint. I use a lot of heat on my hair so it’s important that i keep up with my treatments and moisture so my hair doesn’t dry out and break off. It has a perfume scent like the rest of amika products which it smells good but i have sensitive skin so that’s not my favorite but it hasn’t been irritating my scalp at all, same with their deep conditioners. So far i love this, i try not to use too much since it’s pricey but it lathers very well so i a little goes a long way. I def will be repurchasing once im finished with my current bottle 👍🏽

I’ve used Amika products off and on for years. I love the way it smells. I’ve never used the hydration shampoo and conditioner but my hair has gotten dry living in the desert so I purchased the set. Initially, it did the job. But eventually it became too heavy for my hair and I had a reaction to the fragrance and formula. However, my skin and scalp had gotten more sensitive at I’ve aged so that may be it too. I would recommend the hydrating shampoo and a light conditioner.

I will buy this again! I have long hair and was going to get a short hair cut bc I thought my hair was that bad at 65 yrs old. I was using 2 different shampoos from a box store and they did the same thing. Looked like I never washed my hair! So desperate before I got it cut i tried this Amika and so very glad I did! It added volume and wash lasted 3 days looking like new!!

Wonderful moisturizing

I was really disappointed with this product. I’ve heard great things about Amika shampoo/conditioner and before I purchased I had used Amika dry shampoo, which worked amazingly for me—the best dry shampoo I’ve ever used—so I was very excited about trying this product and willing to pay the price of it for great results but that’s not what happened for me. I bought the shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner spray. I have thick, naturally curly hair and only wash my hair once a week. I waiting a long time before posting this review to give the product time to work with my hair and it just hasn’t. The best thing about this is the smell. It smells very good and the scent locks into your hair leaving you able to smell it days after washing, but as far as hydrating, moisturizing, & feeling soft it’s just not for me. Pantene and Herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner have given me better results. I have to use A LOT of the leave in conditioner spray and then use other products to achieve the moisture look & feel I want. Definitely disappointed with this purchase.
