Update: I contacted CRS directly. They told me they had improved ankle sleeves with thicker gel to correct this problem, & promptly sent them to me. I will definitely continue to buy from them. Highly recommend the sleeves if you have a need for padding at your ankles.These crc Cross Ankle Gel Sleeves really help make my Kangoo Jumps more comfortable. I bought these because I have bruising & swelling in my Left malleolus while using my Jumps. They really help with the problem, but are falling apart after only 2 months of use. I have followed the care instructions that came with them. I wish I would have kept the company’s information, as it’s too late to file a complaint with Amazon.

We love watching our daughter enjoy and advance in her ice skating journey, but when her ice time is interrupted with more pain from boot discomfort than joy in mastering her jump we knew it was time to try something new. Using the ankle gel sock will buy us some time to save up for a better boot with more padding. In the mean time, our daughter can continue her practice and we have peace of mind that she's not experiencing discomfort. This is a great product and it was exactly what we were looking for, plus it's always an added bonus to help support a small family business manufacturing their product here in the US. Kudos!!

I'm very disappointed in the quality of this product. The gel started peeling off after a few times pf using them. The sleeves provide no ankle cushioning and my daughter who skates complained of burning pain in her ankles while wearing the ankle sleeves. We used other brands before and they lasted several months. This product didn't even last a couple of weeks. $20 is a lot to pay for a product that doesn't work.

These worked out. My boyfriend plays roller hockey and was getting big sores a little above his ankle from his newer skates. Nothing really seemed to stick for a whole game or work other than gauze and a bandage but, that was not convenient. He really likes them! Only thing I dont like is I can see on the sides the gels coming off a little, maybe that's just because he's a man with wide ankles?...I will purchase again though because it's the only thing that works

I would love to rate these 5 stars, but they just don't hold up. I still use them every time I skate, but they are falling apart. I have used them a lot over the summer, but they aren't going to last much longer and they started ripping after only a few uses. They do provide cushion and comfort and prevent lace bite, but I'm going to have to keep buying multiple pairs every season or look for something with more durability.

The pair of sleeves came in a mesh bag. The sleeve's stretchy fabric outside is nice. The gel is very sticky to the touch at first and leaves the stickiness on fingers. The insides are all gel and you peel apart the gel before wearing. The smell is very strong at first but dissipates. With so many reviews, I will tried these with some hesitation. Shannon from CRS is quick to respond to questions and issues. I have to give them 5 stars just for the support alone.

I wanted to like this product, but they just didn't hold up after a short amount of time. First set started to fall apart after about a month (skating 1-2 times per week). Customer service was very responsive and sent out another set that were made a bit differently, but they had the same result after about a month. They are very conformable, and gave my ankles the cushion they needed, but I can't afford to buy a new set every couple months. For clarification, I would wear these over the sock. Customer service was very responsive and immediately sent out a replacement set. When I continued to have issues, they immediately issued a refund.

I only tried it for a little while with Roller Blades and also with Sled Dogs K9.02 Snow Skates. They both felt very comfortable with these gel pads on. I turned them INSIDE-OUT to SLIDE them past my foot to where I wanted the bottom to line up. Then, I rolled them up on my lower leg, just above my ankle bone. I have not tried them over the ankle bone because that doesn't usually bother me.
