I included the old version of the small backpack and the newest version as of Jan 2023. I've loved Miss Fong bags for years now and I still enjoy the simplistic minimalist style with functional features where I can be hands-free, which is a must as a parent! The old version was slightly rounder and smaller with smaller exterior pockets. I love the new version where the taller pockets can hold and actually hide items that I want easy access to (like hand sanitizer and my phone.) The difference is there aren't zippers on the side pockets, but the truth is they were so small on the old version they weren't functional. The backs exterior, as you can see, they got rid of the wipe pocket, which I didn't use because wipes would just dry out. Also, it was a bad feature because things would fall out of that pocket from the interior. So I am thrilled the new version has a zip pocket instead! Now I can store more things safely! They also changed the faux leather straps to a nylon. Not sure how I feel about that. Maybe that's good for the summer months as they may not get as hot? I don't know yet. But the old style look was more uniform. But with all the upgrades, I'm fine with this minor change. Lastly the interior is so much better too! I love what remained, like an attached key chain so I can always find my keys, and the insulated bottle pocket. The old style mesh always got caught on things, like a keychain, so I am happy to see they did away with it. The pockets are wonderful and I can store so much! Plus it's slightly larger, so I can store more. I hope the zippers were changed. The old zip always failed and I have replaced the bags again and again because of that. So time will tell with the newest version if they improved with a stronger, more reliable zipper. Overall I give the upgrades a major plus. It was a great bag before and I am very happy with the improvements. Good job Miss Fong! Edit: I realized the straps on the new bag can unclip and hide in the back pocket. This way you can attach the adjustable cross body strap without having the back straps hanging in the way too. The old version, although uniform in material, was permanently placed so you couldn't tuck them away. So I vote for another improvement with the straps!

I’m on my third baby so I feel qualified to comment on this. Miss Fong’s bags are all great. I have the stroller caddy, the large version of this bag and this mini version. By baby #3 I decided the mini was best for everyday. Plenty of room for change of clothes diapers, wipes, nose Frieda, saline, Tylenol and thermometer plus my wallet keys and phone. Plus there are three different spots for the straps to clip on. I use these clips to hang on to my key ring and waterbottle for easy access. All I need to grab when leaving the house is this bag. Everything is in it or attached to it at all times (no more mommy brain oopsies) This bag has a million pockets so if you’re the kind of person who likes a spot for everything even this mini has it for you. The mini doesn’t come with a changing mat but the one that comes with the regular size is kind of small anyway. The only thing I miss from my petunia pickle bottom that was my regular bag before this is the magnetic closure with the flip down changing mat but honestly that just got in the way or fell on baby during changing anyway This bag looks and feels like genuine leather and doesn’t show wear. I’ll use this as my purse well beyond the baby years. Just buy it. You’ll be back for more colors later. I promise

I (the wife lol) purchased this bag in the larger version over three years ago. After daily use, including stuffing it to brim for air travel multiple times (internationally and nationally), this bag stayed ‘like new’ looking until the last 2-3 months of use. It has been rained on, snowed on, lugged around in hot humid weather, dropped, dragged, and thrown into my car a million times, and never once failed. I have not been nice to this bag one bit. Only recently has the leather finally started to peel. There is absolutely nothing else wrong with the bag. The zippers all still work great, the straps are perfect, seams are strong and intact, and considering some of the explosions the interior has seen, it still looks great. It’s even held it’s shape (there’s nothing in the larger bag in the photos). Now that my child is three, I decided I still wanted a backpack to be able to carry everything, but I didn’t need something as big. When I found the mini version of my well loved, well traveled diaper backpack I didn’t even bother searching for other options. It still has all the same great compartments inside (minus one insulated pocket), and the overall look and feel is just like the larger version. My ONLY complaint, if you can even call it that, is the design of the handle. It’s sewn in under the backpack straps instead of on top like the larger version, and there’s no leather wrapping it. Not a big deal, but I feel like it renders the handle useless and I did use it quite a bit on my larger bag to hang it in bathroom stalls. Not a deal breaker by any means, but an annoyance. So, all of this to say, if you were on the fence at all, just buy it. It’s an amazing dupe for some of the more pricey bags, and I have gotten compliments from SO MANY PEOPLE. Most people didn’t even realize it was a diaper bag. Heck, I even met one of my best friends in the aisle of the grocery store because of this bag. 10/10 worth every penny! Oh, and pro tip… stuff the bag with a few small pillows and zip it closed for a few days before using. It will hold its shape for forever after that.

I bought this mini diaper bag backpack (along with the regular size version) over 8 months ago to use with my second child. This is hands down the best diaper bag that I've had. I have the regular size in tan, which is great when I've got both kids and we're going out for the day, but this mini one is my go-to whenever I'm heading out to the store or to run a few errands with the kids. I even use it as my purse when I'm popping out for a bit without the kids. The olive green colour is so lovely and even after months of being dragged around everywhere we go, it looks brand new. Lots of space for baby's things and mine, and the storage pockets on the inside keep everything organized. I get asked ALL THE TIME where my diaper bag is from by fellow moms and no one believes it's so inexpensive for the quality. I'm giving one to my best friend as a shower gift - this is a must have on every baby registry.

Just recieved my mini backpack in Olive color and I'm very happy with it. It's a perfect size for my minimalist style and just enough room for toddler necessities. It fits water bottle in insulated pocket perfectly. Lots of pockets inside and outside, versatile design. Love the color and that it stands by itself which is important to me. Perfect mini diaper bag but no one will ever tell it's a diaper bag as it looks really pretty.

so chic, and feminine! I am obsessed with what diaper bags have become in 2021!! such an awesome dupe for it’s pricey look alike! I have the full size version of the bag this one is duping, and I love it! I wanted a mini version so I had choices between the 2, but I couldn’t justify the price tag. I picked up the miss fong mini in grey for $29.99!!! you CANNOT beat that price! it has tons of pockets, backpack and cross body capability… I am a sucker for the gold hardware! For the price you just can’t beat it. I will say it smelled a little fishy when it came in the mail, and the zippers aren’t the most smooth. but that’s me being reeeal nitpicky! 100% recommend if you’re looking for a bag to use on the go, I have my hospital toiletries in it ready for whenever baby decides to come!

This bag is so cute. Not as high in quality I feel as the original miss fong bags I purchased 2 years ago. Company is very quick to assist. The zippers are great, lots of pockets and the perfect size for quick trips.
