OWC Lies
This is not compatible with PC unless you’re rocking something ancient that’s never had its bios updated. Complete scam. Save yourself the time and money, tech support can’t even figure out how to google the problem. If you have a windows PC, especially if it’s TB4, this will not work, intel removed backwards compatibility with TB2 and OWC appears unaware since they still advertise ON THE PRODUCT PAGE that is compatible with windows 7 and up. Gross

Doesn't really work for a PC sadly
I tried softraid on multiple laptops with this device. They all crashed from the software. Works great as JBODs but raid is unstable. Support was no help. They said wait for a new version of the software. Shame, because the hardware is great.

Preditory: Relies on subscription service that quickly costs more than the enclosure itself.
Relies on subscription service that quickly costs more than the enclosure itself. They change versions every year and charge 150 to get the new versionm, disabiling the softraid software . This was not true when I bought it - preditory.
