My Yorkie only slightly responds. My pug absolutely cannot stand this device and will pout after it is used. He is a drama queen. It is great to stop him from barking and works wonderfully to keep him from jumping up on the kids. Although the design makes me feel like a ghost buster, it is very easy to use. I have only charged it once since I received the product, battery life is really great. This is also a great tool if you have a neighbor who will not keep their dogs in their own yard. I cannot stand a dog running towards me into my own yard barking at me. This device sends them running back home. I have dropped this thing so many times or knocked it off the counter, it doesn't feel great when it lands on top of your foot but it is still working great after a few drops.

Lower end of the price range for similar products. Good quality build, but ineffective for any dog I’ve encountered, regardless of size.

Products works! Really works !! On on med. To small dogs almost too well. I haven't tried the red button I only use training and my dog runs and hides. And wont make a peep for the next few hours. All i can say is it works worth the price. Better than using a shock collar? Idk how loud it is to them.. so I can't say it doesn't hurt their hearing.

Tested this product with 4 different dogs.Could not get a response from any of them no matter what i did.Was impressed with their tech support as they worked with me. The only problem is we proved it didnt work well. This product might work on very small mousey barkers but not mature dogs of strong will.

Works most of the time with my dog. helps quiet him down.

I used this with Bhodi, my Tibetan Terrier, but only to deter unwanted behavior. Namely, barking at people when we’re out walking, and “counter surfing” when food is out in the kitchen and I had to leave for a minute or two. For the latter I set a “trap” and watched from out of sight — when Bhodi started to take the bait, I tapped the “train” button for a split second. I did this twice three days ago. I’ve set a couple more traps, but Bodhi shows no interest in exploring the counter. No more barking on walks either.

I only have to use it on train. I can just take it out and show them and they will stop barking. I highly recommend this..

Like others, it worked for a day or two and then our dogs just ignored it.
