Legendary.
I have a similar pair of these for 20 years with no rust so I bought another pair to keep in my work desk to fix my wardrobe.

Do NOT have around any type of salt, EVER
These pliers are great, IF and I mean IF, U do NOT use them around any type of salt. 1 trip from Michigan to Florida took care of em. I got caught in a snow storm in Kentucky on the way down and these were in my sheath on my pedestal seat and they got all the road salt from the trip. After washing them upon arrival, it was already too late. They're rusted shut. Only 1 year old and 1 time having any type of salt on them.

Excellent for fishing
I love these. I use these instead of my aluminum ones for fishing because of the long needle nose. I can reach further and these are nice and thin.

Robust and strong
Great pliers but they will rust if you do t rinse the salt off. Should be no issue with fresh water.

Not for Saltwater
Not for salt water. Mine got rusty in the pivot. Replaced them last week. Less than a year.

It fulfills all of my needs removing hooks from salmon and steelhead.

Go aluminum or stainless
Initially appeared great and gave them 5 stars but after 5 or 6 fishing trips they are rusted out. I keep the in my leaning post tackle station drawer. Disappointed in Rapala , yeah it only costs 19.99 + tax and 6.99 shipping so $30 not worth it.
