A Bitter Sweet Ending
This was a bitter sweet read for me, because this is the last book by Ms. Katt who died in her sleep in June. This was suppose to the first book in a new series. Frank Ferone is the adopted son of a mafia Don Frankie and the Don had a deal after college at Harvard he worked for the Don for ten years. Rene DuBois works for the Alpha Armand La Marche who we met in "His Omega" Rene is a Beta while at a wedding for Alpha Henri Giraud and Vitas Kosloff these two meet, turns out Frankie is Rene's mate. This book didn't have a lot of action in it like the other books. Frankie and Rene go out on a date and Rene is shocked to see where Frankie is living he was selling his condo he was preparing to leave because his ten years of working for the Don is up. Frankie has a business degree and has been running the Don's finances he also invested his own money and has a nice nest egg for himself. After he read one of Colin's books he realized what is happening and at first he wanted Rene to see a therapist and when Rene changed into his wolf he passed out. When Frankie tell the Don that he is quitting and getting married he took it better than he thought and when he takes Rene to meet his mother and little brother he realizes that the Don didn't realize that he was born gay and for the first time he called him Dad. When a few of the Russian's escaped Alpha Armand has to come up with a way to deal with them. Frankie also has a photogenic memory and he realizes that he can help them. I was a little sad reading this book because I knew about the author dying and I knew this was her last book. The first book in this series was picked for me to read and I fell in love with this series and read all of the books. Like the rest of the books in this series this book was well written with no errors in spelling or grammar. Ms. Katt you will be missed.

So Sad, and Mournful πΆ π’ π π π΅ π³ π’ π©
The book was excellent as per usual. The entire series was one of the best non mpreg shifter that I have read. How I wish that we could know about all of the Betas and their Mate I'ms, then through those other stories we could have learned more about the life's of not only the Beta Mates, but the goings on with the Alpha Mates, children , school ( so far NYU and the Juilliard ) , "The Salon/Spa Experience, the "in" Spot for Ladies or Gentlemen who Lunch ( separate areas and themes for both ) that no one with the money and an appointment { minimum three months in advance } for the simplest of offerings for the discerning client's beautification pleasures. So many loose endings and lost stories so very, very sad,and all of this comes after the brief and grams of losing such a talented author. π πΏ πΏ πΏ πΏ πΏπ π π πΏ πΏπππππππππππππππππππ

Fond farewell
Another wonderful installment in A.C. Kattβs fascinating tale of modern day urban werewolves. Iβve delighted in this shifter series from the beginning, checking back frequently in eager anticipation of the next installment. Each book has provided a little more insight into the captivating world of the loup garou, and the lives of its intriguing characters. Like the initially unwitting human mates reading Colinβs werewolf gay romance novels, I found myself wishing, if only they were true. Lacking Vitasβ gift of foretelling the future, I could only speculate enthusiastically who would be next on the godsβ list of mates. You can imagine, therefore, my complete dismay upon learning, at the end of this book, of the untimely passing of Ms. Katt. From numerous hints throughout the series, I had a strong suspicion that this was all building up to something big. There was a lot more story to tell. So sad, that we shall now never hear it. There is no gainsaying, nevertheless, the achievement of Ms. Katt in crafting these appealing, well written stories with their absorbing characters. Obviously, she loved writing them as much as we loved reading them. She had an amazing imagination, an outstandingly talented storyteller. That, I believe, was her bestowed gift. She lives on in her books, and the peaceful manner of her passing is clear evidence that she enjoys the favour of the gods. The next cycle should be interesting.

Thank you Ms. Katt
Due to the unexpected passing of the author, this is final book in this series. The whole series has been wonderful to read. This book was just as great as the previous ones. I enjoyed the world and werewolf society that Ms. Katt created in these books. I was looking forward to the Betas finding their mates and finding out what direction Ms. Katt was going in the overall story line. The editors did a good job of editing things so this book becomes the ending of the series. If you have not read these books and you enjoy wolf shifter m/m romance please read this series.

Will miss your series Ms Katt
First off my condolences to Ms Katt's family. I will certainly miss her writings, this series in particular but am thankful that I was able to read her work. I truly enjoyed Frankie's story. Have certainly been interested in his character since he first came up. This book is a wonderful addition to the series. I am also thankful the series has started coming out in audiobooks as that is my preferred method of books. Joel Leslie is a wonderful narrator and I hope he continues to complete the series. Plz start book 1 in the wonderful journey of Werewolves of Manhattan and enjoy yourself.

Fantastic book set in my favorite author's universe. Heartbroken that it is her last.
I waited breathlessly for this story, and it didn't disappoint....until the very end. The sudden and unexpected death of the author leaves me sad beyond belief. Ms Katt was and is my favorite romance novelist. I check every month to see if there is a new Werewolves of Manhattan audiobook since I accidently discovered the audio version of His Omega. I cheered out loud when I got Henri's Little One. I have all of her books downloaded onto my Kindle because there is nothing better than rereading her stories over and over again. I can't believe this fantastic series has come to a sudden end. RIP Ms Katt. Maybe I'll get to hear the rest of the stories when we meet in Heaven.
