This is a really good quality faux leather fabric! I ordered “brown“ and “light brown”, but kept the brown one only as there is not much difference. Cutting it was easy, and it didn’t fall apart at all.

Thrilled with this nude faux leather. Good weight easy to work with and the colour was just great, true to photo.

Fabric was a bit stretchy which didn’t expect - makes pulling taught to staple difficult as it stretches easily so ended up with bumpy edges\folded fabric under staples in order to have a tight finish. Colour wise it was redder than the photo shows but for the price and next day delivery it does the job.

Molto pratico

As others have mentioned, this faux leather material does have a smell, but after leaving the material unfolded in another room for a few days to air out, the smell is fading quickly. Looking online, a smell does seem to be common with these types of PU faux leather materials; but with good quality versions, the smell wears off quite soon with airing; not so with poorer quality versions. (Bear in mind that even real leather usually has its own smell too which wears off with airing/time.) I used the faux material to upholster the top of a footstool because the previous cotton material was wearing thin. The faux material is not thick so was very easy to cut and sew (with regular scissors/needle). It looks like grained patterned leather and just like the photos in the advertisement (the light brown option), with a soft material on the underside which is in a lighter tan colour. On day four of airing out the material, I can now use my newly upholstered footstool and can't smell the material (unless my face is right next to it, but then it's a very faint smell - I expect zero smell in a week or two). The faux material looks like it will be hard-wearing and last many years.
