CATMen's Outline Soft Toe Work Boot

Love these boots. Great quality and comfort.
These boots fit exactly as expected (I got the wide width), they are great quality, and they are extremely comfortable. I manage a 180-acre camp, and I'm out and about frequently in varied terrain. The boots keep my feet dry, warm, and comfortable all day, whether I'm mucking about or sitting in the office at my desk. They are also less expensive than other work boots I was considering. Can't say enough good things about them. Highly recommend.

Tough boots (sanitation worker)
These boots are tough! Got about eight months out of them, the last couple months the seams blew open on the side. But I put a little shoe goo sealed it up just fine. About ready to start using my new pair of Cat boots. Worth the money not gonna find better for less money!

Listen to the reviews that tell you not to buy.
I bought these boots last summer but only started wearing them this year.First off, the leather makes a clicking noise as I walk.I believe it's the flat leather over my toes bending and then making the click noise as it straightens out (the leather is fairly stiff).I've never had boots do that before and it's pretty annoying.I've only been wearing them for maybe a month and just noticed that the left outside seam has split and the right outside seam thread is starting to fray. They put the seams in the absolutely worst place. Those four seams bend as you walk so they are constantly being stressed until they fail. The thread holding them together looks like it's too thin/weak for a work boot. It's just a bad design and I knew it after my initial inspection after receiving them.I read about the seam failures and decided not to buy them but then noticed there was a pair in brand new condition from the Amazon warehouse for $26.I figured I should at least get a summer out of them which would've been fine.I never thought they'd fail so quickly.I've had Cat boots in the past and have gotten two to three summers out of them.I definitely recommend passing on these.I'll never buy another pair of work boots that have stitched seams in these areas.Btw, I hadn't noticed until I took the picture that the leather has already started to crack.Just another reason to stay away from them. These probably weren't even worth the $26 that I paid nevermind the normal $95+.UPDATE:September 6, 2022I've been splitting time between another pair of shoes so I've probably averaged wearing these 2 or 3 times a week through the summer.Since my last review, two other seams have split. The inner lining is the only thing keeping my sock from showing through the seam.Of course when walking in dirt, it sifts through the liner and I end up with dusty, dirty socks. Also, the leather is still making the annoying clicking sound.

They leak dirt.
I like everything about them--mostly good quality materials and workmanship and good fit--except, they leak dirt and you have to pull the insoles out and blow the boots out with air to get rid of it completely. I decided to save you all from the horror of posting a picture of my dirty feet after wearing these. You're welcome. You'll just have to take my word for it. It's bad and it's unconfortable. I suspect that the problem lies in the manufacturer's choice of material for the web that connects the middle part of the tongue to the rest of the boot or the quality of how it's sewn in. It does tend to fold away nicely when you put the boots on, but it is either too porous or not sewn in very well, and I think that is where it allows fine sand and dirt to filter into the inside. I happen to have the means to replace that material with something more suitable and expect that it will solve the problem but it might be a heavy lift to spend $70 on the boots and another $20 or $30 at a shoe repair shop to have this fixed, unless constantly having dirt between your toes doesn't bother you.

Original
Excelentes botas. Producto original.
