Shipped on time, came in one single package with adequate plastic wrapping. They were a bit pricey for the quality, had a weird smell, came apart a little bit, and they arrived slightly wrinkled. Would buy again for a lower price

You can split in half and still get strong harvest.
Works well growing any grass or sprouts.

Good grow pad, but will dirty your hydroponics water.
I grow mostly hydroponic microgreens and have been using Biostrate almost exclusively. I wanted to give this a try for two 3 reasons: it's organic (Biostrate is not), it compostable (Biostrate is not), and I can get it cheaper at pallet prices. I tried this prior to committing. This hemp pad is much, much thicker than the Biostrate sheets. It's also quite heavier after soaking in water. In my system, it's producing similarly good results. The reason I don't like it is because it dirties the water. I put 6 sheets in a 5 gallon bucket to soak them, and the resulting water looks like dark tea. This may not be a factor if you don't have a flood system like I do. My water was crystal clear when using Biostrate. Now is a a dirty brown when using this. I have clients inspect my greenhouse some times, and this would not be good. Again, may be not an issue for everyone. Lastly, if you use biostrate and change to this, you should not water quite as much. I only water once a day with biostrate. This is enough to get mold on this hemp pad. I reduced watering to every other day and it's ok now.

Good organic mats
Good grow mats that work well and are firm enough to hold seedlings upright well. They will however dirty your water a bit, so soak them for a little while. They will still eventually lose strands of hemp, so watch your filtration.
