My husband and I had been on the hunt for a buffet type cabinet for our dining room for the better part of a year. We kept hoping we would find one in a store near us. My sister, while searching for new furniture for her place, sent me the link for this cabinet. I was hesitant to order, worried it might get damaged in transit. However, the product was pretty well protected and was delivered several days ahead of the estimated delivery date. It was shipped in original packaging and was pretty heavy. It was a two person job to move it into our house. All the parts were very clearly labeled with number/letter stickers and I think this was the first furniture kit I'd gotten that had extra hardware bits included. As another person pointed out, there was not enough wood glue included for the wooden dowels, so make sure you have some extra on hand. My husband did the bulk of the building and it took about 3 hours from start to finish. If you have the space, definitely sort out and group the parts if you can. And make sure you have a decent screwdriver, Allen wrench and/or a driver with interchangeable bits on hand - the supplied tools were not adequate and quickly made their way to the trash. It was a little more time consuming to build than we had anticipated, but as long as we took our time with the diagrams, it wasn't difficult to put together. It is very sturdy and wasn't terrible to move once we got it assembled. I had hoped it would be a little wider - I was hoping for a place to store my stand mixer in it's box. That didn't work out, but it does store our liquor bottles nicely. Overall, we're very happy with how it turned out and plan on ordering the coordinating corner cabinet in the future.

Easy to assemble, with detailed instructions, labeled parts, and everything required present, although it may take a while. Extra parts available and no missing parts. Very sturdy and durable. Prefect size and no scratches/defects so far. Works well as advertised.

The cabinet is even prettier in person. I’m impressed with the quality of the materials. It’s made with solid wood. My husband said the assembly was extremely time consuming, but the instructions were detailed and were well labeled. He spread the assembly over three days, a few hours each day. It was well worth taking the time to insure getting it done right. The finished product is well made. The details such as the hardware on the doors and drawers add to the beauty of the cabinet. The doors and drawers work perfectly. I can’t recommend buying this cabinet enough. You won’t be disappointed.

I really love this piece! I volunteered by father to help me because I knew this would be a project after reading reviews. I stalked this item for a few months until it went on sale! I would say for the price it’s a pretty solid piece. It’s for sure not a high quality piece of furniture, it’s just manufactured wood. However, if you are looking for a beautiful piece at a fairly cheap price this is it! Took two people about 3.5 hours.. and that’s at a decent pace! Also, be careful the top is very soft and scratches easy! Mine is already scratched .. luckily I can cover it up with something. It is definitely in many pieces and about 136 pounds. Fedex sucks and left mine out in the snow, on the bottom of my porch. Me, being 135 pound female had to find a way to get 137 pound box to the top of my porch alone. Luckily, i’m a strong ass chick! If you have patience and don’t mind putting things together, and doing projects like me, I say buy it! If your looking for fancy & expensive high quality this isn’t for you! I happen to love it! Had a lot of space too!! ❤️❤️

I purchased this to use as a coffee bar, but I waited until a price reduction to purchase. I chose this one because of the previous ratings and also because it was Prime eligible, as most are not. It did take almost a whole day to put together but the instructions were clear and all the parts were in the package with extra to spare which is great. All pieces were intact and no damage to any of the pieces. It is a sturdy cabinet, holds a lot and I appreciate the spacious drawers in this unit; we left off the wine bottle insert and wine glass insert but both are very heavy-duty pieces and will use those elsewhere. Very happy with this purchase, it looks great in my dining room and matches my decor!!
