These things are great! Wanted to try a filter holder device due to Hunter S. Thompson using one and found these since I didn't want to have to bother with cleaning a filter every day or so with the amount I smoke, around a pack a day. They do work reasonably well and reduced my smoker's cough within the first week, almost completely eliminating it the longer I used them. The amount of tar you keep from your lungs even with these small disposable ones is amazing and adds up. The only downside is that once they start getting full of tar, it starts to affect the taste of the cigarette. But this just means you need to switch out to a new one. Personally, I won't smoke without these anymore if I have them on me. And until I am able to quit once and for all, using these will at least give me the confidence knowing I'm at least keeping some tar out of my lungs and not have to worry about a smoker cough with its disgusting phlegm.

Purchased numerous times with no issues. Actually worked great. My last purchase, more than half have faulty filters. Lose fit and filter holes too large. Disappointed

I have been using TarTrap Disposable Cigarette Filters for quite some time. The quality of the last received ones was very poor. The filter, which normally can be used for 5-6 cigarettes, becomes unusable after 1-2 cigarettes. The tar leaks out.

Most of the filters do not work after one cigratte. Quality has been degraded
