I bought this product a year ago and still have not needed it. I did however open the package last week to reorganize the jeep and found one part had leaked. I didn’t expect anything but decided to reach out to Gluetread about my issue and they sent me a whole new kit. Great service, they clearly stand by their product.

Had a flat on the sidewall of a tire on the trail. This repair kit fixed it and still running it a year later.

This stuff works great, used it for a guy who cut his tire on a piece of trash at a camp site. He texted me that he made it to about 150 miles to the tire shop.

If the product performs anywhere near as impressively as the company Has don’t expect any problems.I don’t leave reviews often, if ever.After a month in the garage and a week in the center console of my truck the accelerator solution leaked inside the package. Then out of the package and into my console. The patches are now warped as is the liner in my console. I’m also out of accelerator so I won’t be able to use this kit. I had high hopes for this product and am disappointed in both it and the money wasted.

I had the unfortunate need to use the GlueTread on a recent off-road trail in the Idaho wilderness. After slicing the sidewall on two of my tires, with only one spare, I needed this for the best of the cut tires. My particular use case had me installing the patch on the inside as the ~3-4” slice went up into the side lugs on my 40” mud terrain Patagonias. The sanding required to make then flat was harder than taking the tire off the rim.After following the directions and waiting ~30-minutes before airing back up, I was surprised that the patch held at ~35-40 psi. I kept the pressure high to minimize the flexing of the sidewall and was able to drive off road on some fairly gnarly rocky terrain for over two hours. Only stopping every 15-20 minutes to add a few psi to maintain the high pressure. GlueTread saved me from spending the night on the trail and allowed me to drive back to camp. Highly recommend to keep a pack handy if you venture into the backcountry.

This is a great set of tire repair items that are essential for off roading.

If you are out on a two track rocky road, or completely off trail, the chance of gashing your sidewall is higher. While on a two-week off-road journey I went through one tire, and then my spare. This kit is what you need for such a sidewall cut. It really works! Because of the size of the cut I had to use three patches overlapping, and it worked long enough to get me 30 miles on a very rough road until I could get to a paved road, then another ten miles to get a replacement tire.

I didn't have anything to sand the letters down like it says to do. in the woods. Couldn't be done with what they give you. The glue has been holding but seems to be loosening. Again it did work!
