The media could not be loaded. This really is perfect. It is compact, extremely easy to use, and works great. I think it is the best way to charge your batteries whether traveling or at home. I use it as the only way I charge my batteries now. It is so much more convenient than using a cable and having to leave your camera out only to charge the battery. You can be charging one battery while using another. It is easy to attach and remove batteries. The plug rotates in and out for protection. The battery charging status is easy to understand, and shuts off when done charging.Especially in a hotel room, I don't want to leave my camera out when I need to charge and string a cable across to an outlet. If I want to leave for dinner, I'm uncomfortable leaving my camera out, but I might be willing to leave the charger and battery out if I must. Better yet, if I forget to charge a battery overnight, I can still take my camera in the morning out for the day while leaving a battery charging behind. At home, I like to wait until my current battery gets low, then start charging another while I am still using the camera. This way I can charge whenever I want without having to stop using the camcorder.There really isn't much to say. It works perfectly and is more convenient than the charging cable.

I got this right before our recent overseas trip and I was very pleased with it. Suffice to say it works exactly how a charger should work. Plug it in, insert battery, and wait for it to get all juiced up. I will say one slightly weird thing was the battery charging progress meter would turn off once you've finished charging, so for those people who are forgetful or assume the worst, it may appear the battery wasn't charged. But in every instance so far it has charged up the Sony NP-FV70A battery just fine. Other than that, it does have a nice flip-away plug which makes it easy to store while traveling. Charging time is probably around 2 hours-ish, I don't know because in all instances I left the battery charging overnight!

The charger works but for some reason mine doesnt display the accurate battery level. The only way I can see where my battery level is, is to put my battery in my camcorder and turn it on. It worked perfectly the first time I used it. The second time I used it and from then on I have had it display incorrectly.

Nice small charger, fits in the case or bag easily. A better alternative to in-camera charging.

I've had this for a while now, so I've really been able to test it out. It's absolutely perfect, lightweight and compact and it does exactly what it's supposed to do!A great choice if you need a charger... stay away from the cheaper knockoff brands as they can sometimes really harm your batteries!I research all these things... this is the perfect choice if you need a charger for your Sony batteries!I am very happy with this purchase!

One of the rare times where I bought factory and I'm glad I did. This charges from dead extremely fast (in the off case I'm not tethered to power) and has a very tiny footprint that fits in my bag easily. I can get by with two batteries no problem thanks to this little charger!

It works great. I received it yesterday and used it for the first time. So far so good. However the description is completely wrong. It does not come with a cable, the charger itself plugs into the wall which is fine by me.

I have the inexpensive Sony HDR CX190/B camcorder and was getting tired of charging the batteries in the camcorder.The Sony camcorder has a very short USB cable built into the hand strap that you can use to charge the camera but it's very slow, slow like 2 mins. of charge time for 1 min of recording time.You can plug and charge the camera by using the AC power supply also, this is much faster. I've not actually tested the charge time of the travel charger vs charging the battery in the camera with the AC power supply but it was pretty close.This travel charger has a charge indicator light that glows orange while it's charging and it also has a 3 segment green charge progress indicator also, when the battery is charged up all the lights turn off.My only concern is that the flip-out prongs for plugging into AC power seems delicate and my break if not plugged in and removed with care.For those with more than one battery for their camera this is a must have item.
