For logging high miles, long hours or overnight shifts, the Amarillo has earned a reputation as a trucker’s jacket for the weary that haul heavy loads on lonely backroads. Vintage sanded duck material stands up to constant wear while dark, washed colors hide the well-earned scars of dirt, diesel, oil or black rotgut coffee. Fleece-lined pockets warm hands or stash gloves while metal front buttons last longer than cheap plastic. The right pocket snaps down for security and the left holsters a pen, pencil or sunglasses in a secure vertical slot. Review: Great fit, comfort, durability, and look - This is by far the best jean jacket I have ever had - including Levi's, Carhartt. It fits perfectly, not boxy or stiff. I have been wearing it a couple years now and there is essentially no significant damage to it. It is unexpectedly warm, I can wear just a t-shirt and this jacket when its in the 40s and I'm comfortable. Lastly, the look of this is first rate Review: Durable, Comfortable, and Stylish Vintage Look! - The Walls Men's Amarillo Vintage Duck Cotton Twill Jacket is exactly what I was looking for in a workwear jacket. The duck cotton twill feels tough and built to last, yet it’s surprisingly comfortable from the first wear. It has that classic, rugged look that only gets better with time, and the vintage design adds character. The fit is true to size with enough room to layer underneath, which is great for cooler days. The pockets are well-placed and practical, especially for holding small tools or gloves. Overall, it’s a solid jacket that’s both functional and stylish – perfect for work or casual outings. Highly recommend for anyone needing a dependable, long-lasting jacket!

Good jacket
I’ve owned several Walls jackets and coats in the past and they have always been exceptional. It’s basically a slightly less expensive Carhartt in my experience. This jacket appears to be quality material and well made and seems like it will prove to be very warm. The inside (excluding the sleeves) is lined with a very nice nice fleece that is very warm- yes also the pockets. The sleeves are lined with your basic polyester insulating material. I wish that this jacket included a zipper cause the buttons with come lose during heavy labor. I do plan on adding a zipper to it myself. I’m 6’0 and 160lbs (very slim built) and the Medium fit me perfectly. Fitted well but with enough room to be comfortable. The bottom sits just below my belt line while standing up straight which is perfect. Sleeves are a good length as well. One final note to address, the jacket is not the color showed in the photo. It is a much more “light brown” color vs the picture which shows a more tan looking color. This isn’t an issue for me cause I like the color but I did want to point that out that the photo color is no true to actual color. Likewise, the collar is not as dark as shown in the photo. This may change over time as the jacket fades, however I don’t ever see this jacket fading to the color in the photo. Overall, it’s a nice jacket and I do recommend it.

Great jacket, not a winter coat but dang nice jacket
Darn nice jacket. 5 star! High quality. Not a Filson. I see many 2-3 star ratings because jacket is not a winter Walls/Carhart jacket you wear in winter at a construction site. Not right to give it a poor rating. It just isn’t that type of jacket. This is a high quality Spring/Summer/Fall type jacket you wear riding a horse or driving a Jeep. Don’t expect to wear this holding a “slow down” flag in the rain winter in South Dakota. Not that type of jacket. This is a very cool cowboy style jacket for Arizona, California Eastern Washington in warmer weather. Very nice retro lightweight jacket. It is what it is. Put on your Stetson, pull out a Marlboro and enjoy. Jacket works in a modern sense of layering. It would be like giving a pair of Speedos a poor rating if you wear them winter in Montana. Nice stylish tough jacket. Not work wear winter type jacket. Would buy again. Can’t find a retro jacket this style anymore at this price. Is kind of like something Glenn Ford or Little Joe would wear on the Pondersa. Way cool!

Nice jacket. Beware - runs small!
I’m 6’3”, 218 lbs. usually take a large to XL. Since they don’t offer tall sizes, I took a chance on an XL and glad I did. Washed it in warm water and dried it on medium heat; shrunk up just a little…and it already ran small for an XL. Wore it with a hooded sweatshirt underneath - it was snug. Probably fine by itself. It’s not a heavy duck material and the lining is more plush than rugged. Nice wear around or motorcycle jacket, but not sure it would hold up long as a work jacket. Still, I do recommend the jacket - it is nicely made.

Nice balance between slim and baggy
The fit and overall appearance are just what I wanted. This jacket works with either a T-shirt or a sweatshirt underneath. It's appearance is more work related than dressy. It's my every day go to jacket when the weather drops below 50 degrees. The lining is attractive and just right for fall, winter, and spring here in the Pacific Northwest. The jacket is not light, but is not heavy either and has a nice feel when worn. Not an evening out on a date jacket, but good for almost any other occasion.

Tough jacket
Great fit I’m 6’0” at 280lbs got a xxl. The jacket is tough and built for work or a night out. I’m an electrician always movin. the stitching is really nice and the fleece is nice and warm this is a carhartt quality jacket at a great price. Only thing I noticed are the bottom backside of the jacket does not have the buttons shown in the picture and the collar is a little lighter than the picture. Great jacket overall

Great jacket but somewhat on the short side. Im 183cm, 78kgs and size L fits well, bottom of the jacket sits just below my belt. Should be warm enough for Aussie winters, not sure about overseas in freezing temperature though

I'm just over 6ft tall, weigh 217lb, wear a 46" suit jacket & I am quite broad at the shoulder. I ordered size XL & it is a perfect fit, not too baggy & not too tight. I have been wearing the jacket with just a t-shirt underneath & it doesn't feel like I am wearing a tent, but there is enough room for me to wear a jumper underneath if required. Normally I would wear a 2XL in most coats, but I know US garments are bigger than their size suggests. I have quite long arms for my height & the sleeve length of the jacket is just right for me, so if you are more normally proportioned, you may find the sleeves a bit long. The jacket hem comes down to just below my waist, but I would have preferred it to be a bit longer to improve the silhouette of the jacket (& make me look thinner!). I would have also preferred some form of adjustment at the jacket hem, to make it fit more snugly, as not everyone with a 46" chest, also has a 46" waist. The jacket seems well made, from quality materials. I quite like the popper fasteners, as it gives the jacket a retro look, plus there is no zipper to fail. This being a US jacket the two parts of the poppers are on the opposite side to a UK garment (i.e. UK ladies fastening), but I know from experience that they are easier to fasten than a US zip, if you are used to the UK configuration! I don't feel the cold as much as a lot of people, but I would not class this as a (UK) Winter jacket, but it is great for Spring/Autumn use.

Not just your average jean jacket...triple stitching, well made and durable. A tiny bit large in the expected fit, but overall an excellent product. All snap fasteners, nice inside pocket and decent lining. Yes, I would recommend this product to others.

LA CHAMARRA ESTA INCREIBLE BUENA CALIDAD DE MATERIALES, DISEÑO INCREIBLE, TRAE UN ACABADO COMO VINTAGE QUE ESTA POCAMADRE LO UNICO QUE PUEDE SER UN INCONVENINTE ES QUE TRAE FORRO DE FRANELA PARA CLIMAS FRESCOS. PERO NINGUNA QUEJA. TAL VEZ PODRIAN SACAR UN MODELO SIN EL FORRO AISLANTE, PARA USARLA EN CUALQUIER EPOCA DEL AÑO. DE TALLA BASTANTE BIEN COMO SE ESPERA DE LAS TALLAS REGULAR. 100% RECOMENDABLE

Really happy with this jacket. The photos here on Amazon don’t do it justice. I washed it once and it looks even better slightly faded. Nice and warm but not bulky. I’m 6’-1” regular build with broad ish shoulders and the large fit perfect. Another notable mention is the back western inspired yoke and the amazing contrast collar.
