These spoons are great and they fit into every spice container that I have tried so far. The beautiful stainless steel construction is both durable and easy to clean in the dishwasher or by hand. The thick gauge stainless steel is a great quality and will last my whole lifetime. I intend to pass these spoons down to my grandchildren. Although these spoons were higher priced than I normally like spending they are worth every penny!

These are the best measuring spoons ever! They're good, strong, durable, and high quality. The handles are long enough, and the oval shape of the spoons allows them to easily fit into smaller bottles. You won't regret buying them.

I wanted spice measuring spoons without magnets and wanted the set to include 1/2 tablespoon -- not the weird 3/4 tsp or 2 tsp substitutions. I purchased 3 sets: The first was too soft (flimsy). The handles of the Chefrock with Silicone handles would have folded if scooping peanut butter. The silicone handle insert appeared to be a nice touch until you turned them over. The bottom has an open slot in the silicone and makes the grip awkward. The 2nd set was too rough (sharp and dangerous). These were the Hudson Essentials and although they're very heavy duty and essentially unbendable, both the ends of the handles and the rims of the bowls had sharp edges. I got a small cut on my finger unwrapping the set. The finish in the the bottom of the bowls looked like they had been scratched with a wire brush. This Spring Chef oval set was the winner by far. No sharp edges. Very sturdy and essentially unbendable, with a nice smooth finish. The handles are a bit wider and easy to hold and the oval bowls are easier to clean. The tablespoon measure doesn't fit in the smallest spice containers, but the 1/2 tablespoon fit every time. 9/4/20 Update: I clean them in the dishwasher and have had no pitting, rusting or other discoloration. Had to buy my daughter a set after she used mine. We're all very pleased with this product.

I got so tired of my cheap measuring spoons - the plastic set had the sizes worn off, and the metal set was thin and flimsy and bent easily. These are EXACTLY what I wanted - nice and sturdy, with clear measurements, and the sizes I need for everyday cooking. They look great and feel good in the hand. They are tapered so they fit into most spice jars. I just know this is my last set, they are so nice I don't expect to have to buy another set again!

The "ideal" set of measuring spoons are not difficult to imagine, and these come very close! Stainless steel - these are definitely metal, and they aren't rusty! Engraved, not painted - these are engraved and fairly easy to read. Nesting - these have a very nice, tight next, so they take up minimal drawer space Flat across the top - each spoon is a sinlge piece of metal, and they can be leveled easily Oval - With the exception of the 1 tbsp, these all fit into my spice jars like measuring spoons should. Wide range of sizes - They could have done a bit better here - I would have preferred a 1/3 tablespoon instead of a 3/4 teaspoon, but 3/4 teaspoon is so common that I can't complain. Sits level on the table - This set DOES NOT sit level on the table, which is the biggest downside. I can't measure something and then leave my spoon on the countertop, and I have to hold the measuring spoons in one hand when measuring liquids. This is what bumped the set down from 5 stars to 4 for me.

These are well made, and far better than the magnetized sets (where the plastic parts and magnets inevitably fall off).

Very heavy duty love them

The teaspoon measure was labeled "1/2 tsp" and the 1/2 tsp was labeled "1 tsp": kind of a glaring error and since I grab these in a hurry when I'm baking, kind of a fatal one. I live remotely and can only mail things out every 2 weeks so I won't be returning these. I'll just have to paint over the label. They seem sturdy and easy to clean, but since the whole point of having them is being able to measure things, they are really worthless!!!
