These are Mungyo pastels. I had to return mine, because the tips on a couple of the pastels were damaged or broken (shipped in an envelope instead of a box), however, I have used this brand before and love them.

I can pick them up, draw, then use water to mix the colors. So easy to use. You can blend with your fingers as well. I often use these while watching YouTube or Michaels online classes in acrylic since I can keep up with these then later view the video and paint with acrylics. These are so user-friendly. I use them more than color pencils and love the effects. I have added details to these paintings/pictures using oil based paint pens (like Castle Arts). GREAT value!

I have different sets of oil pastels. I even made a whole bunch myself. This is the first time I have bought water-soluble oil pastels. I am certainly not a professional artist, and watercolor has been a hard craft to master. These crayons are wonderful! But, first, yes there was crayon with a broken tip, another one broke off about an inch when I was using it. Personally I have no problem with this, as most pastels end up in pieces anyway. Even the shavings can be used. These pastels are soft. They dissolve beautifully when you brush water over them. I am quite taken with them. I am waiting on another brand as well, and this was kind of my back-up choice. It was a very good choice. Yes. I love these crayons!

They work just like oil pastels and watercolor paint. They are soft and the colors are bright. When used as watercolor it will act as a watercolor leaving no dark splotch where the oil pastel was originally drawn. Iv watched youtube reviews and found these were liked more than the name brand ones. I decided to buy these before I seen the price so that was a nice bonus

Beautiful when activated with water for a wonderful watercolor quality. Bold colors. First time using oil pastels. I really enjoyed them. Used them in adult coloring books.

Extremely soft and water soluble. Makes it super easy to blend. Some colors like the yellow had a bit of a different feel to it though.. more waxy? The rest are dreamy though. ✨🌙🎀

オイルパステルを使ってみたかったので、購入。 使ってみないと、それぞれのメーカー、商品での特徴がつかめないので最初試したところ、個人的には濃い色の上からも白が乗ってくれるような全体的に柔らかいものを探していました。 こちらは、重ね塗りでは白が乗ってくれなかったので、描き方としては薄いところは最初から白を塗っておく必要がありますね。 そういう特徴を掴んでからなら、上手く他と使い分けられればと思いますが、自分の望んでいた特徴のものとは違いました。 白はとても固く、黒は柔らかかったです。色によっても、特徴が変わりますね。 水溶性ということなので、最後に水筆で濡らしてみたりもしてみたいです。 追記 最後に、水を付けて使ってみたところ、パステルの暖かみを残したまま滲ませたりぼかしたり、という面白い効果が得られましたので、今回レビューに追記と評価を上げさせていただきました。 この効果を部分的に使ったりするのも面白いです。今はとても気に入っております。 少し難がある部分があるとすると、カスが出やすいのでマメに取ったりしています。 あとは、気に入ったので減りの早い色だけ単色買いできたら、最高だなあと思います。
