Permite una inclinación de la pantalla de 100 a 130° en posición horizontal. Tiene una funda protectora flexible, robusta y segura, que permite sujetarse magnéticamente a la funda del teclado, y así también, desmontarse fácilmente de el si así se desea, posee un espacio acanalado en uno de sus bordes para alojar una pluma/lápiz digital, también tiene ranuras/conductos que permiten fluir el sonido de los altavoces estéreo del iPad. El teclado se enlaza fácilmente a dos dispositivos, y se puede alternar entre ellos seleccionando las teclas que corresponden a cada dispositivo según se requiera. Las teclas retro iluminadas tienen tres niveles de intensidad y diferentes colores para seleccionar, incluso puede apagarse la retro iluminación de las teclas de ser requerido. Tiene teclas para funciones rápidas pre establecidas de la pantalla, volumen, reproducción de video/audio, encendido y apagado, entre otras, incluso para desconexión y conexión o bloqueo del trackpad. Este último funciona muy bien y es suficiente (aunque, se requiere ejercer mayor presión hacia los bordes para lograr hacer el click, lo cual puede ser simplemente una percepción quisquillosa de mi parte). Las teclas son cómodas y permiten una escritura fluida, silenciosa, y agradable. La carga es mediante cable usb-c (que no está incluido), y aunque no se carga por contacto con el iPad, la autonomía de su batería es suficiente para realizar el trabajo sin requerir abastecerse durante un periodo considerable de tiempo. En general, no me parece que le pida algo al original, o a la opción alternativa que la manzana vende en su página. Detalle importante: una conexión usb-c macho de adaptador (por ejemplo los angulados en “L”), o una base de cable que sea ancho (mayor a 14mm), podrían requerir retirar la funda protectora para lograr realizar la conexión, ya que el perfil del grosor de esta podría no permitir el acoplamiento apropiadamente. El costo me parece justo, y la calidad excelente.… tres meses después, solo ha requerido una carga, pero los sitios donde hay fricción se cae una parte de cubierta.

The keyboard feeling is nice and keys are responsive. It is bulky and heavy when close but it is like the Logitech with the nice difference that you can detach the tablet with the case and leave the keyboard behind. The Apple pen slot can also fit the “fake” apple pen replicas. I spent close to half the price for a cheap keyboards with case but the fit and finish was not close to the Zagg. Also I had an original Apple Smartfolio and within 8 months of use it got wrinkled and developed some “blisters” in the back… bad apple 🍎

I really like many of the features of this case that you can’t find easily with other iPad cases of this style — the magnetic attachment of the keyboard to the viewing positions is amazing, I love how the keyboard turns on and off depending on if you have your keyboard attached to the magnetic strip, the detachable keyboard, and definitely the protection the case provides. I want to love it so bad, but there’s some inexcusable flaws that make me consider returning this and just picking up cheaper folio case with a separate bluetooth keyboard.- The weight. this thing basically doubles the weight of the iPad, meaning that if you bought the iPad in the first place to be a lighter alternative to carrying around stacks of paper or a bulky laptop, this is going to put a dent in that plan.- The material. the outer material scratches REALLY easily. I’ve had this for 2 days and there’s already a big raised scratch on the back which I have no idea how it got there. I can only imagine how scuffed this thing will look in a few months or years.- The most damning: the keyboard. It has a tendency to accidentally double-type letters at random. While typing this review there’s been at least a few times already where I had to correct the mistakes that this keyboard was making. It’s really a shame because the keys feel great to type on, but it’s a dealbreaker for me if the keyboard is making mistakes for me.

This is a good keyboard. Only 2 complaints so far:1) The instructions, or lack of it, are a problem. Had to return the first one that I bought after thinking that it was not working. It turns out that the keyboard only works (turns on and stays on) when attached to the ipad. I was testing it without it and returned because of its failure to turn on. Neither the instructions, nor talking to the Zagg representative informed me of this. The same happened regarding how to turn the keyboard lights on. No instructions. I had to Google it to find the answer.2) It is indeed heavy and cumbersome to carry around. But it must be really protective against accidental events.But overall does the job.

I used to like Zagg but this keyboard/case was . Maybe this particular one was damaged; but, the keyboard wouldn't charge for me. Also the package wasn't sealed and the keyboard/case wasn't even in a bag and didn't have any kind of protective seal. I'm not sure if that is normal or this was already returned once. Lastly there was no adapter included! This is not a cheap item and Zagg won't even include at least a USB-C cable? Not that impressed. Item was immediately returned.
