How often do you buy a knife. This one is weighted and has a precision blade. The heft fits in your hand. I can tell it's made to last! Before purchasing, I studied all the reviews and a lot of knives interestingly get bad reviews for rusting or breaking. This brand did not disappoint, and I would not hesitate to buy other knives made by this manufacturer.

This is a great knife. A bit more weight than I had imagined, but the 7-inch blade is amazingly sharp and handles well in a variety of tasks. You're not looking at a cheap knife, but you are looking at a good one. Dalstrong makes a powerful looking knife.

I have been debating buying a Dalstrong knife set for a while now (due to the cost)... and finally went for just 1 knife to start, the 12" carving knife. YIKES, its SHARP!!! and VERY VERY well made, very thick and durable steel blade. We love it, and are also terrified of it at the same time LOL. BE CAREFUL if you buy this, its so sharp it will cut your breath just looking at it.

I have purchased 2 of these knives since they are so inexpensive . I use them as general paring and steak knives . the steel isnt crazy hard an if you use them daily like i do once a month or so you will have to sharpen them with a light touch up. But they are very well built, very straight, and very sharp. they feel good in the hand there a pleasure to use an there affordable .

Used it during Christmas. It was sharp! Easy to control!

I have a few Dalstrong knives now, and this one does not disappoint! It's small, but incredibly sharp. Highly recommend!

This is my 3rd knife from Dalstrong. Excellence in quality. This is the cheapest Dalstrong to my knowledge. Worth every cent.

Super sharp out of the box. Great packaging. According to the negative reviews these are known to come chipped or don’t hold an edge. That wasn’t the case for the one I received. It’s possible Dalstrong had a quality control issue at some point but mine is beautiful.However, there are brands that give you sharp and sturdy knives for less money. Though not usually as pretty
