Bike Pedal, Hycline Bicycle Pedal Sets, 9/16'' Non-Slip Aluminum Replacement Pedals for Road/Mountain BMX MTB Bike

Fell,of my electric bike and damaged one pedal, these were a great replacement, easy to fit.

I bought these to replace the original pedals that were fitted to my bike. After many years of use, the rubbery surface on those original pedals had worn smooth, and particularly when riding in or after rain, my feet were slipping on the pedals - obviously not what I wanted. I chose the Hycline set because they have serrated edges and I was particularly anxious to get pedals on which my feet would not slip. They are definitely better than the end-of-life set that they have replaced. My only concern is that the pedal size is a little small - another time I would be looking for something a bit bigger.

I really like these pedals. They look good on the bike and are ideal for a regular leisure/commuter bike. They have built-in reflectors and turn nicely. I like that the main body is alloy rather than plastic. They should last for many years. And at this price, they're great value for money. I've given them a good oiling and coated the threads with a generous layer of grease. I never expect to replce them, but whoever inherits my bike will be able to change them easily, very many years from now.

Basic set of pedals fitted to high end bike as temp replacements to higher grade 'clip in' pedals to allow everyday occasional use. Nothing special but are solid quality and work which is all I asked for !

Affordable, but feet tend to slip off quite easily.

Aggiornamento post-montaggio - abbasso di una stella In accordo con il venditore, ho montato i pedali per capire se con l'uso, la cercata scorrevolezza nel rotolamento, potesse in qualche modo migliorare. Al momento non mi sembra ci possa esser questa possibilità poichè dopo un giro anche piuttosto lungo, non è cambiato nulla. Confermo invece, come da foto, la pregevole fattura estetica ma per il resto, piuttosto deluso. Proverò ancora un po' e poi valuterò se restituirli. ------------------- Premetto che non li abbia ancora montati tuttavia già appena presi in mano mi hanno fatto sì una bella impressione come struttura che sembra robusta ma dall'altra la scorrevolezza che mi aspettavo dalla descrizione dell'articolo non sembra proprio esserci. Avevo appunto individuato l'articolo per sostituire dei pedali in plastica che hanno un'elevata resistenza alla rotazione ma questi presi non sembrano troppo diversi. Ora son incerto se resitituirli o provare a montarli per capire se possa migliorare con l'uso perdendo così però la possibilità di reso
