Is this seamossline harvested or taken from the rocks on the ocean floor?

This seamoss comes from the rocks. I have even found a sea crab in mine.

Whatbis the smell of the moss supposed to be? Our bag is very fishy smelling and I'm not used to such a strong scent with golden moss.

This seamoss does have an ocean smell. This is the seamoss Dr Sebi speaks of. The purple Chondrus Chrispus sometimes even has small sea crabs in them. You can rice with lime juice and will soaking add lines to the water. Rinse will with spring water after soaking. Purple also swells almost double than the Golden seamoss. I use both. What is the best way to consume this? As is or rehydrated?

The best way to consume it is as a gel form. You can prepare it with the instructions below: 1. Soak the sea moss overnight in water. It will increase in size. 2. Drain + Rinse the sea moss. 3. Blend the sea moss with a small amount of water as you would if you were to prepare a smoothie. Once ready, store in a glass jar in the fridge and consume within 4 weeks. You can freeze it for extended life of 6 months.
