Rapid, 1984253, 0.5 l, Photo Paper Fixing Bath

It a great fixer that I have been using for years. Recommended to anyone that home develops b&w film.

Ilford has a reputation for the best chemicals in film photography processing. I've never used another brand because from the beginning the hobby and professional community have always recommended Ilford products. I use this fixer with Kodak Plus-X 35mm Black & White Print Film , Fujifilm Neopan 400 Professional Black-and-White Negative Film as well as Ilford's own Ilford HP5 Plus Black and White Print Film and have had great results every time. For such a crucial step in the developing process I can think of no other fixer I would use. Key things about this fixer: *This fixer DOES NOT contain sodium thiosulphate (hypo), and as such you do not require a hypo clearing agent. *This is a non-hardening fixer, as such it may not be great for older or delicate film, but is good for modern film. *Ilford cautions against the use of fix hardeners. I have no complaints about this fixer, it works great for me. Shelf time fully sealed is 24 months, after opening is 6 months. I have used this fixer 9 months after opening, but allowing a slightly longer fix time (7-10 minutes) and have had positive results.

i cant find eny thing that says its hazardus to the enviroment,some of the ingreadiants are found in swimming pool treatment. works great last slong time .i had some older stuff outside in the grill evaporating it down,to take up less room, for a couple of weeks it still worked

This is the ONLY fixer to use for sodium-free photographs. It also is the BEST possible fixer for the amazing New55 Instant negative system now being offered. Hats off to Ilford for keeping real photography alive with super safe products!

A classic in DIY photo development, in a reasonable quantity. Note that once you puncture the membrane, under the cap, the fixer is good for 6 months (You need to dilute it 1+4 to use it, and that lasts for a week).
