Quality product, easy to install.
Measured old threshold, this was a match on height and width. Cut old threshold in center with 5” metal cutting blade in grinder. Took out the 2 halves. Trimmed staples in jams with side cutters. Drove in new threshold with hammer and block of wood. Shimmed with wedges. Sealed with clear silicone to floor. Adjusted height with screwdriver. Works great.

Used an extension making a 7 5/8 width
Great product, been buying Frost King for 45 plus years. Fit great, just added a 1 degree miter on each side so it can slide easier into the jams. Don't forget the silicone caulk. M-D Building Products 67106 36 in. Mill Aluminum Snap-on Sill Threshold Extender works with this Frost King. slide in from either end with WD40, block of wood and a hammer to tap into place.

Solid piece but the leveling system is useless
As others have said, don't count on this in its current state being useful for anything other than the minimum thickness. The issue is that the threads for the adjustment system are pressed into the bottom of the plate vs being threaded directly into the structure. So what happens is that when you apply pressure to the threshold (step on it like everyone will do) after it has been adjusted upwards it just pushes the fittings out. I put about 10-15 screws in along the threshold and just made my own adjustment system.

Good quality to build a diy door frame

Like many others here, I did not find this piece at my local hardware store, and I didn't want to replace completely my door, at least not yet. This is a great piece for the price. It looks great and is pretty solid. The instructions tells you to use "fasteners" to fix it, but both the metal and plastic pieces are fixed to the wooden part and cannot be removed easily to do this. That is not that bad of a problem: I've ended up just removing the nails on the back side of the black plastic part, which give me enough place to add screws directly on the wooden part. After that, just replace the plastic part, add new nails and your good to go with a solid door sill threshold!

Pretty decent quality, actually. Wooden plank inside is okay, CNC'd fit is good, materials are common but reasonably well put together.

Had to cut to fit, worked for us, saved $700 on a complete door assembly.

Installed it for 6 months from now. Good. Nothing to complain. Can withstand the winter of Saskatchewan.
