Nice Knife
I love a small pocket knife in my pocket. Operates nicely and seems to be a good quality of metal

They've all been great quality Chinese-made Bucks
I've had a couple of these and a 326 Scholar (same except finish). They've all been great quality Chinese-made Bucks. I doubt they would be different at all if made in USA. For me, this is the ideal size pocket knife and is easily operated with one hand. If you're not familiar with this knife, it's thinner than a standard linerlock because it has no covers or bolsters so the liner is the outside of the knife. This design can also be seen in a Gerber STL 2.0. The thin profile makes it much more pocketable. I didn't look up the steel, but it's reasonably hard but not as hard as the old Buck fixed blades and classic lock backs. It has a good balance between durability and sharpening ease. I lost one for a year outdoors (Southern California) and when I found it it had one small and very faint rust discoloration that wiped right off. (And it wasn't on the blade.) It's a good value at this price and would provide me with many decades of use if I could only keep track of it. (I won't ding Buck on the issue of my carelessness :)

Small
If you don't want a lot of bulk in your pocket this is a good little knife. Pretty easy to sharpen and not too expensive so when I loose it in the pasture or the hay field I don't feel too bad!

The Most Useful Tool
This little knife is terrific. It's small enough that it doesn't crowd your pocket, so you can carry it all the time. I've carried one for years until I lost it and bought this replacement. It's the same great quality. Its stainless steel construction won't rust or deteriorate in any way. I use it for all kinds of everyday tasks, including opening packages and cutting tags off new clothing. It's so familiar, I can open and close it with one hand. The locking blade is safe and easy to use. Friends who know me often ask to use my knife. They know I keep it handy, and I keep it honed to a fine edge. You'll love this little pocket companion.

Great Knife, but the Blade Lock Sucks
Bought it for daily pocket carry (gentleman's knife). Blade lock secures the blade very well, like any Buck product, but unlocking the blade sucks. I have big hands and the little frame lock mechanism is hard for me to pull on, and it requires a pretty hard pull with just fingernails. Doesn't matter since I lost the knife less than a month after I got it. Won't buy again. Will stick with the Bucks I have: 110, 55, 501 Squire.

Good product for the money
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very nice knife for the price. Seems to hold an edge. Not sure what this is on the hardness scale but seems pretty hard and durable.

Love it
Really nice small pocket knife that fits nicely in your pocket with no bulge and is razor sharp. Good quality that you would expect from Buck.

Hard to open and close...
I was looking for a replacement for my old Buck 525 that I lost recently. It was a simple pocket knife that just worked and was my overall favorite EDC for years, so I bought this one. The 325 is similar in overall length, blade size and appearance but the blade sticks terribly and the blade lock is difficult to use as well. Overall it's a sturdy knife once it's open and you can't beat the price for what it is since I believe Buck is generally good quality overall. Plus, this is the fifth one I've purchased over the years so I do have some history with the brand. Maybe this thing will get better with time but I never had any issues with my 525 right out of the box or during the many years I had it. It's a shame Buck chose to discontinue that knife because sometimes simpler is better than an over-engineered replacement.

Sehr kleines EDC. (ähnlich dem spyderco Grasshopper). 1a verarbeitet, sehr scharf out of the Box. Klingenstand mittig, klingengang weich. All in all ein klarer Kauf
