Stops hyper flash from LEDs
I changed out the incandescent blinker bulbs to LEDs on my 39 ford standard. The led brake lights are awesome, plus the blinkers work properly because of this flasher relay. The 39 is a positive ground system and this is a direct replacement. You just plug it in and attach the fork terminal to a solid ground ( screw it to metal which is attached to the frame) which is a positive ground and you are done.Simple as that The bulbs are 1154 (LED)The reason for going to LED is because incandescent bulbs draw 4.2 amps each (8.4 amps for 2 tail/brake,blinker lights)LED draw 1.2 amps each ( 2.4 amps for 2 tail/brake /blinker,lights. Much less load for the generator in the carNo adjustments needed to the relay it sets itself for proper flash timing. Excellent quality fast shipping and great price.

Perfect replacement for an old, ailing flasher unit
Bought this little gem to install in an old 6 volt positive ground car. The old flasher would work only when it felt like it. One minute installation and this one works like a champ. Definitely recommended over the original thermal type flasher.
