Simba 195228 Doll with Beach Car

Yet another winning toy from the Steffi collection that we were able to surprise gift our Little Girl. She loves all of the Steffi and Evi toys. The beach car is nice, because until we got this, she was basically using different toy cars for Steffi and Evi to drive around in. She has the bicycle set for Steffi and Evi, but doesn't like putting them on it much. With the car, a friend can ride.Overall quality isn't anything special, as is the detail. Sort of like the kind of toys you see at Dollar General or Family Dollar for only $10. Which doesn't matter to our Daughter, she'll have a blast with a $1 toy if it's something she likes. Point being, don't expect Barbie doll or accessory type quality. But if your child loves it, shouldn't really matter how it compares to other toy lines.

The car is adorable and you can fit another doll in it if Steffi has a friend. I know that they want to encourage seat belt use, but I find the seatbelts awkward. They don’t look like seatbelts and they require you to slide straight legged Steffi down into the seat past them. This causes Steffi’s skirt to come up revealing her permanent underwear. Shorts would have been better with the seatbelt design.Steffi’s legs are permanently perfectly straight which I guess makes her easier to slide into the seat. Her hips, shoulders, and head can move in all directions. Her face has pretty good detail.This is designed to be easy to open with plastic pieces you turn to release the car. One refused to let go so I had to pull the car off by force and the plastic piece flew off revealing the uneven edge it was stuck on inside of the slot (pictured). Besides that, I did not notice any additional flaws.This set is not perfect but it is significantly cheaper than the main brand name. It is a good value for the current asking price, I am sure my sons will have a lot of fun with it.

I love the Steffi doll. She is a pretty doll with beautiful long blonde hair. The car is a nice large size and it rolls across the floor and carpet very easily. It's also easy to get the doll into and out of the car and there is enough room for another doll to fit in the car as well. The dolls arms are too far apart to actually hold the steering wheel though. Also, I find the seatbelts to be weird. I thought perhaps that you pull them down from underneath to tighten them around the doll but apparently they stay loose, which is not a great message to be sending. If they tightened down, I get it, but I've pushed and pulled and have not gotten them to move at all. Overall, nice doll and car set for the price.

This Steffi Love Beach Car and Doll is a very cute little set for youngsters who enjoy playing with dolls. The toys are well made and solid and don’t feel cheap and flimsy. The suggested age for this toy is three and older, but there aren’t any small pieces, so it should be safe for anyone. Of course, I’m speaking in general, not on behalf of the maker. A well-priced doll and car for around $20. About the same size as a Barbie, and it should bring a smile and some fun to many young people. I can recommend this doll and car set with confidence.

I got this for my 9 year old granddaughter. I wondered if she felt "too old" to play with this type of toy but she loved it!! The car was bigger than I thought it would be but it is perfect for getting kids off electronics for a while. She and her sister played with this doll and car for a long time!!
