Cute, bigger than expected and shape is more egg like than the mushroom shape in the image
This was much bigger than I expected and not as cute shaped as the picture here. The one I recieved is more free-form, rounded on bottom and overall egg shaped. I'm keeping it, as it's still cute, but if you want that sort of mushroom shape that you see in the image be aware that you may not get it.Last spring I had a cute little red chested bird family set up a nest on top of a solar light. I had to throw away the light after the babies all hatched and flew away (was planning to do so anyways as it had rusted out) & wanted to put up something nice for them for this year. Unfortunately, they came to check out their old nest area a couple weeks earlier than I expected and by the time I ordered this 2 day shipping from Amazon they must have set up their nest elsewhere (boo hoo). They're still coming every morning to drink dew from my succulent plants and what looks like steal some of the grass from this nest. I'm hoping this nest will survive the summer and winter into next spring and maybe they'll move in then - guess we'll see..
