great idea. Have not lost a poll in water yet so not ure how they work. But hope they do.

They float! Yay!Also I am clumsy enough to drop a kayak paddle into the lake, so for me these are a kind of anti-clumsy insurance policy. Some of us need a little help on the water, eh?

Super easy to install. They slip around a bit more than I like even with the included velcro straps as tight as they will go. I added a zip tie that has an eyelet to hold the hook during transport. Not sure if they will keep my rod/reel from sinking and I hope never to find out. :)

Work perfect. Use them on my kayak poles. Tested to make sure they work. Probably a little too long. I cut one in half and will be testing it next fishing trip. Velcro holds nice and tight.

I had to quit using these. My line kept getting tangled in them.
