BEST BATTERY EVER!! And overall function.
The media could not be loaded. Ive had this keyboard for almost AN ENTIRE YEAR and I have YET needed to charge it.The keyboard has a function key that allows you to check the battery status using a light blinking sequence - 4 blinks = full power, 3 blinks = 75%, 2 blinks = 50%, and 1 blink = 25% and needing to be charged soon. I had this for 6 months before it went from 4 to 3 blinks and another, 5 months to go from 3 to 2 blinks. This was with kind of a neglectful use, meaning I was not great at turning the keyboard off to preserve power, and the last few months I've left it on a lot! It'll have been a year of owning this device in 2 weeks and in a month or so, I predict it'll be the first time I've needed to charge this keyboard. The functionality is amazing with only 2 features that I find personally annoying. The trackpad I turn off a lot because my hand touches it a lot and it's pretty sensitive. Additionally, the finish around the track pad has worn off and had stained my screen protector. Luckily I have that screen protector so the finish doesn't get on my ipad. Outside of those little things, I love this keypad!I love that it's detachable which allows me to use my ipad as a laptop but also flip it so I can use it to draw on. Ive used other keyboards that allow this but are attached on a swivel hinge and those have broken and cant support the weight of the ipad. This one uses magnets and they're strong! Ive had ZERO issues with the magnets ability to connect snd hold up my ipad, it takes a second for the keyboard reconnect to the ipad because it has to wake up and goes in sleep mode when not in use. The feeling of the keys are amazing and easy to use which makes the keyboard the best thing for taking notes for class, writing emails for work or just doing creative things on the ipad.10/10 would recommend (though a new finish that doesn't rub off would be lovely but that does NOT take away from it's amazing use and battery life.)If you're looking for a keyboard that allows you to use your ipad like a laptop/drawing pad duo, LOOK NO FURTHER!

Solid case with excellent touch keyboard and functional trackpad
I bought this keyboard a few days ago because I needed to edit a long document on my iPad Air 5. I’ve been typing for a few days now, and it’s been a very pleasant experience. The case is sturdy and perhaps a bit heavy, but I want it to protect the iPad, so that’s not a problem for me. It was easy to set up. The iPad fits snugly into the case, which cleverly detaches from the keyboard. It’s held there by a really strong magnet. I’ve read other reviews saying the magnet is weak. Mine certainly is not. It takes two hands to pull the pieces apart.I use an ESR magnetic case as my everyday case, and transfer the iPad to the keyboard iPad holder when I want to have a typing session. It’s a little snug to place the iPad in the holder and remove it, but not so much to be a hindrance.Pairing was easy and quick. I charged the keyboard when it arrived, and it took about an hour and a half to full charge. The touch of the keyboard is great. It feels just like my much bigger Acer laptop keyboard. The trackpad is also very good. It works just like my laptop trackpad. You can “click” by touching anywhere on the trackpad, not just in the corner. You can double click to select a word. The trackpad is sensitive, but not too sensitive. You can disable it, but I’ve not had to do that, yet. And I rest my palms on the keyboard. It’s possible to reverse the iPad part of the case and fold it closed to cover the keys and leave the iPad screen exposed. I’ve not needed to do this, I just put the iPad back in my magnetic ESR case, but it is possible. The only thing missing are backlit keys. For me, this isn’t an issue, I only work in well lit areas. With a coupon, I got this keyboard for under $35.

Not a paid for review! Or is it? Not, most definitely not. Would have been nice though
So you want another mediocre review? Then have I got the review for you. I’m currently on day 3 of the case and so far it’s really good! I bought it for $33 so if it goes up, it’s either because it’s doing really well as a product or they are going for a money grab. To start off, it was very easy to put the case on my 11” iPad Pro. The packaging really was hassle free and the instructions were easy to understand. YOU WILL need the instructions as to pair the device you have to press a keypad sequence to initiate the pairing. The case is snug and feels sturdy. I don’t have a screen protector so I can’t say how well it would close with that on. The hinge works well so far, keeps open at a point you leave it. Only time will tell if it can withstand the heavy weight of this iPad. The keys and functionality are much like an actual MacBook and the trackpad is nice! I haven’t had an iPad before that could utilize one so this is a new upgrade for me and it’s really great! There are rubber guards on the keyboard side to protect the iPad when closed so no worries about keyboard marks on your screen. the case is reversible with the magnetic mounts that it uses to connect to the keyboard, that comes in handy for propping it up if you don’t want the keyboard layer out in front. A downside that I. Could see to this case is it feels HEAVY! When all of it is put together, it feels like a brick. I know the iPad itself is heavy and the case is very light, but the sensation it has when it’s put together is hard to shake. So overall, I am very happy with the price and functionality it has. If this lasts me 6 months before I have to buy another one at the same price, it still is worth more than Apples keyboards for the iPad.***1 year, 6+ month update***Well, it’s technically still working holding onto my iPad, but. Barely. I’m not too mad that I bought this product, I have used it a lot! It has lasted a long time considering what its been through. But those plastic corners just couldn’t last once they started cracking. I’ll keep the keyboard, that could be used with any case really. Maybe I’ll get a friend to 3D print me a case.
