These stakes have about a 1/4 inch diameter. Nothing in common with my old umbrellas. No holes for attaching.

Perfect fit!

The replacement fiberglass rods worked perfectly for a different brand (not mentioned in the description). The plastic tips on one end of the rod is a great addition (the original rod did not have it unfortunately). The rod material quality is far better than the original rod. I am very happy with the product. It arrived right on time for the 4th of July. Happy Holiday!
