Inconsistent teeth
The teeth are inconsistent in depth on both the flat and the edge of the file. If you examine the flat of the file from an oblique angle you can see areas where the teeth are cut deeper than others. On the edge of the file, the teeth are not cut across the full thickness of the tool. At this price point, this might be the best the industry has to offer. Maybe my expectations are too high!

Would buy again
It’s a file, it does what it’s supposed to, I’ve only used it on plastic so far. Mine has some plastic molding hiccups but that is my only complaint, small potatoes if you ask me.

did not come "in original packaging" (paper sleeve).
warped and slightly twisted. Large areas if file sides have voids, raised edges, and no teeth. Will probably return. Rubber handle installed approx. 10-15 degrees off of proper position.

Looks good, but doesn't sharpen good.
These files look and feel great in your hand but when used to try and sharpen cane knives, these are horrible. It may be good for other applications, I'm not sure, but if you need to sharpen cane knives like my company, don't buy these. They just slide down the knife, without sharpening the blade at all. You need to apply a lot of pressure just to file the knives a little bit. This is actually dangerous because if the file slips down the metal, like it does, and you're applying a lot of pressure, you can easily slice open your hand. Sorry for the bad review, I don't normally give out bad reviews, but these files are not for us. I guess I'll have to go back to what we used to buy previously.

When nothing else works, the old file does the job.
I had a stainless steel Kukri knife, which had been almost impossible to sharpen by damond sharpeners, whetstone, or anything else, until I purchased this item, and then it sharpened to a "scary sharp" degree. I have since used it to shapen all of my knives and machetes, some of which had been a problem that whetstones or nothing else could sharpen properly. This file sharpened them in 15-20 minutes. Now they are razor sharp, and could cut anything put before it.

It's a pretty big file.
I liked this product. I'm thinking about buying another one similar.

ok

unimpressive
File is cockeyed in the handle, and the file itself is bent at the end. Also just looks generally like an unfinished product that missed quality control before sent out.I wouldn't reccomend.

Garbage Casting
There are uneven burs all around the file and some of the teeth on one side are missing completely. The cheapo Hotmax file on amazon was better quality. Not recommended.

Perfect for the price.
Great, usable file for deburring conduit and the like. Longer than other files I have used. Not the sharpest but good for medium duty work.

Average quality, arrived with flaws
Looks like a nice file but arrived with a section of it with file teeth sheared off to the metal. Was also covered in shiny metal shavings that are embedded in some of the teeth. It should still function but it arrived with damage.
