Excellent design and build quality
A top-quality device that is useful far beyond anything I'd imagined. Bends easily beyond 90 degrees if needed but still stiff enough to do one-handed reaches of fasteners. Is standing up to hard use including with driving bolts with a socket driver with nary a sign of distress. The design is brilliant, with the outer sleeve being non-rotating so you can grasp it anywhere and run the fasteners in. Only wish they made a second, shorter version for certain tight spots.

Fits and works well!
This can get you out of a frustrating situation! Bits lock in nicely and magnet strength is good! Will fit in tight places and works surprisingly well, well worth the price, i had a cheap knock off but it broke so had to get the good ole Makita brand!

Quality Makita tool (no surprise)
First impressions: impressive. Makita quality. Best one I’ve come across. Like many other folks have likely experienced, I have had a number of tools trying to accomplish that task of fasteners out of the way and hard to get to with bendable extended bits. Sometimes I have success, sometimes not as the tool can’t do what it was designed for. Like most tool things, improvements come as years pass. And that is the case with Makita’s unit. I am impressed with this upon delivery. I haven’t put it to use yet, as presently I do not have a situation to use it other than test it. I love the tip sleeve movement to lock in the hex shank bits and sockets.

The ONLY one to purchase
It’s heavy duty, made from Japan and works fantastic with my impact driver. I purchased another one that you can see all over the site, but as others have said it’s cheaply made it breaks very easily. This one is solid heavy and just works. It does have its limit, so just know how to use it. My only gripe about this is it’s very expensive, at $35 it should be $10 less. But I guess you get what you pay for. I’m very happy with an recommend it

This is the one.
This is the sturdiest, most useful flexible extender I have used. I blew up 2 dewalts before this one arrived - and this one could handle the torque and get er done!

Ordered three variations from different companies, this is the one I'm keeping
Life-altering on my current project, wish I'd known about this years ago. The cheap and more flexible alternatives you see don't lock the bit in place, which is critical in tight spaces. Also ordered one from the "yellow" power tool company that had a handle on it, but was too bulky and the bit release was fussy. Donating both of those and keeping this one.

Good product which can be used for impact drivers.

Not the Same as Older Units
The previous version could be bent at an angle and it would somewhat hold that bend. This unit has an external plastic sleeve that is always trying to return it to completely straight and it makes it much more difficult to use. No clue why they made this change. It's still very high quality and works well in an impact driver.

My second one, I wrecked my first one after using it with a driver drill and spade bit (I know . . .), a terrible lapse in judgement. Kinked and destroyed obviously. Use with impact, very very well built and holds up super well if used as intended. Much prefer it over the Norske ones I've also owned.

This is a great tool that works very well at high torque with impact drivers. Highly recommended to anyone who had issues with cheap flexible bit holders like me and who are looking for a reliable one.
