Finally found a clean protein that works
Honestly, I’m pretty picky about ingredients, and this stuff is legit. I’ve been using it after my morning kettlebell workouts, and it makes a huge difference in how I feel. It mixes well and doesn't have that fake, chalky sweetener taste that so many other brands have. It’s just simple, clean protein. Will definitely be buying this again.

Minimally processed, no additives or flavors, tastes good.
Organic, grass fed, only one ingredient, and processed without acid or bleach. I look for minimally processed supplements without added flavors or sweeteners or additives of any kind and this fits the bill. I mix this in my morning smoothie (blended with a Vitamix) and the taste is neutral with no "gritty" taste or feel. I found that it did not dissolve well when "stirred" into hot or cold liquids, but it does fine with a blender. I have not tried using a hand held immersion blender stick, but I imagine that would work fine. I have hand-stirred it into plain yogurt and it is smooth and not gritty, and again, the taste is mostly neutral. If you add fruit or flavorings you won't taste it at all, but if you have it plain it will have slightly "milk-like" flavor, but it is not at all unpleasant. I buy it in the five pound bags for the best value. The amino acid profile is not provided on the bag, but is available on their website. I will definitely reorder as this meets all my requirements.

Quality and taste on par
I love this protein powder. It has no added nonsense and delivers what it is supposed to do. Kind of stays clumpy and doesn’t fully dissolve but I don’t care too much about the texture vs having a good quality whey protein.

This is whey concentrate, not isolate...I missed it!
I had been researching organic grass fed whey protein for days as I began recently revving up my high intensity workouts for weight management and overall health. And wanted to try whey vs plant proteins (which I've tried in the past). After much looking, I decided to get an isolate vs a concentrate. And I wanted something that was unflavored. Loved that this one only has one ingredient. However, I missed that this product was a concentrate, not an isolate. Most of them say on the front of the packaging 'isolate' or 'concentrate'. This item says neither but I did not catch it at time of ordering. I decided to keep it since I had purchased it when there happened to be a 20% off coupon. I was disappointed to see that the serving size to achieve the 21 grams of protein touted on the front is 5 Tablespoons which amounts to 14 servings. Instead of the 5 TBLS, I did 2.5 TBLS and used a scoop of the grass fed collagen which supplies an additional 11 grams of protein. In addition to the 3 items seen in the photo, I also add 1/3 c of organic frozen blueberries. I blend it in a Nutribullet. No issues at all with blending and I LOVE the taste! I do not like protein powders that are sweetened, even with Stevia because they are often overly sweet & sometimes cause stomach upset. This one is perfect for me. Last two points that were important considerations for me in purchasing this and will likely result in future purchases of it as well: I have Crohns disease and, therefore, various food sensitivities. I wasn't sure how I would respond but felt encouraged to read in external reviews that this one did not cause stomach upset for people as some of the others did. I have made shakes for 4 consecutive days and I'm happy to report that I have had no adverse effects, incl bloating, which I have experienced with other protein powders. Lastly, this one kept me satiated and energized for hours. So despite the fact that the price point is higher than some, I am pleased with the quality.

Excellent product but no scooper and flimsy bag
Great product, one of the best out there if you're looking for minimally processed whey protein. But it doesn't come with a scooper and the bag is quite flimsy. Otherwise would be five stars.

Checks all the boxes
Started with protein powder from costco, thought I was getting a deal, but realized that it contained sucralose, which is no bueno for gut bacteria health. A lot of people think that protein powder messes with their digestion because of residual lactose. The amount of lactose in whey is essentially zero, but just try and find a naturally sweetened protein powder out there. If it's vanilla flavored, it is at least partially sweetened with an artificial sweetener, usually sucralose. And sucralose wreaks havoc on your intestines. So I started using unflavored whey purchased here on the Amazon, but it tasted absolutely awful. I had to sweeten it a bit, mix with whole milk just to get it down. Fine for me, but the rest of my family was not on board. Luckily the company stopped offering the product, not sure why, but ended up finding this stuff, and it is the absolute best for taste. I seriously hope it is legit, because it is a total unicorn - tastes like actual milk, has no artificial sweeteners, is organic, and actually doesn't even have lecithin in it, but still somehow mixes with water as well as any I've tried. I buy organic vanilla beans here on the Amazon, put them in a bullet blender with sugar to make a vanilla flavored powdered sugar, and lightly sweeten this stuff, and it is not just bearable but actually enjoyable. It is expensive, but worth it for me.

Horrible Tasting Protein Powder
All of the reviews on the company's website said how great this whey protein tasted so I purchased a bag on that information. If fact I almost bought the 5 pound bag which was a much better deal, but I thought that I should probably pay the higher price per ounce and get the 12 ounce bag, which I'm glad I did. Tasted horrible. Very chalky, which is maybe why the taste seemed to linger in my mouth all day. Really bad flavor that sticks with you. I've had some pretty nasty protein powder, but this was the worst -with maybe the exception of Hoffman's Weight Gain back in the 80's To be fair, I mix my protein powder with just water because I don't want to get filled up. It's hard enough to consume the proper amount of protein to build muscle without adding a bunch of extra stuff in your drink to make it taste better. Anyway, this stuff mixes so poorly with water that after finishing the glass you have pour extra water in the glass several times and mix the leftovers to get the full dose, which prolongs the agony. But I wanted to give the best chance possible, so I mixed it in the blender one time with water and a frozen berries. The result was that I now had to drink twice as much of this awful stuff. The bottom line is that NO protein powder tastes good, no matter the hype. But some taste better that others. Go ahead and try it if you like, but don't get the large size.

Great Recovery Shakes
Takes the post workout edge off very well. It does this at least as well or better than wheys I have tried. Great flavor & thickening in shakes. Plain, it has a clean astronaut ice-cream type taste with a clear note of cheese. Little to no bitter. While non-instantized whey tends to be less bitter (lecithin is bitter), this is less bitter than other non-instantized I have tried. This tells me it is likely well- made, not scorched in drying, and really from cheese whey. Few if any wheys state this, but it would be nice if it stated "USDA Grade A Milk" and "USDA Extra Fancy Grade Whey". I wish the lab report would state the limit of quantitation (detection). Most lab reports do and it would be easy to add. They should add non-gmo cert. I know organic means non-gmo, but when organics get audited they often find hidden gmo, so the cert has value. If the company is reading this, I wish you would say "100% organic" and "100% Grassfed". I like your language but a lot of companies allow grain for "body conditioning" and similar in grassfed so hyper clear language is better. Some people seem to think this a small, one product co. It is a unit or owned by the same people who make Performance Inspired Nutrition products. Every whey product I have researched is owned by a major producer. The only product I thought was close to this one (NorCal) is also owned by a major ((Performance Sports Nutrition). Anyway, the product works for me and it is the best product, especially for price, in organic grassfed whey.
